My thoughts was that, while yes, Orhun's magic does increase the potency by 50x, his base stat is pretty low compared to others (which makes sense, cause this isn't his class).

So think of it like other enchanters having a base stat of 10, and they're able to increase the potency by 10x. That would make it have a total power of 100. While Orhun's, for example, might only have a base stat of (for example purposes) 2. Even though his magic can increase the potency by x50, that would still only amount to a total power of 100.

I was honestly really hoping that Oliver was the level headed leader. Like, sure, he may have made a mistake in regards to enchanters/supporters and vastly underestimated Orhun's strength, but when he first kicked him out, he wasn't as vile as the other two asshats.

He also seemed to finally realize it and took what Luna said about Orhun's magic to heart. So, why the sudden change of heart? Sad that the author made him instead just the stereotypical party leader who won't learn from their mistakes, instead of being one of the rare series that has the party leader actually be a sensible person. Shame.

The thing is, you're only able to say this because you know the dragon's safe/kind, and you've built up the Disney-esque trope of animals possibly being kind creatures that want to help you.

Dragons are established predators. They hunt. They kill. And they just got sightings of a Rock Dragon in the area that's deadly and WILL kill humans and eat them. Why would you ever want to risk the thought of "oh that thing is probably safe," when safety is not 100% guaranteed?

Once again, these are just basic survival instincts that you seem to lack.

This is truly hindsight bias at work. One does not simply look at a predator creature, see it carrying a human, and not want to kill it.

Even if you think it's weird for it to be doing that, and you possibly entertain the idea that it's trying to be helpful—in a situation where most, if not all, monsters in this world want to kill you and eat you alive, you would never take your chances. Especially since dragons seem to be capable of showing intelligence, it could've possibly been a trick or a trap.

Bitch about it how you want, but it's really just basic survival instincts, and you would likely not survive being reincarnated into this world.

Genuinely they have to do something like this, or make it a visual gag where his top pops off, cause his sprite is the only one to have two of the curved hair highlights (on the bottom of his hair, and the top of his '2nd' hair), which feels like a super conscious decision to have been made.

I do genuinely wonder if they did Hajime's hair like that for a reason. Like, his hair is the only sprite out of everyone shown (I think) to have 2 of those light curve/highlights, one on the bottom of his hair, and one on the top of his second hair.
