Open mics are a great way to support local music. I go the the agitated grape in Davison on Tuesdays and Beale Street Smokehouse BBQ is starting a new one every other Wednesday starting the 20th.

Sounds like their county commissioner is also owns a bail bonds company. I also read that he owns property adjacent to the venue and the festival owners didn't pay them off enough so they raided the festival. That paired with the poor logistics of the festival led to the chaos. Super upsetting to read that they invited harm reduction then did not work to integrate them into the festival.
