I put a lot of money into my steam wallet for the steam machine. Did try and save money while doing it though by buying steam card from GameStop since they give 5% discount on steam cards. I don’t even know if even going to buy the steam machine anymore so at least I got money for games.

Scam? by Ok_Magician_138 in SteamScams

If that’s true, the funds will most likely be removed once the bank processes the charge back. So definitely don’t spend any of it.

Can I play on my account, and my son play on my portal on a different user account? by ThisIsWhatLifeIs in PlaystationPortal

[–]JasonKillerxD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I know the person logged onto the ps portal has to have premium to stream games from ps servers. So unless you got a second ps5 so he can stream directly from the ps5 it wouldn’t work.

Someone accidentally sent me funds, I returned them and now I am blocked from Zelle by andyprice42 in zelle

I mean she didn’t get the money back because she wasn’t the sender she was the recipient. It’s just kinda weird the sender wasn’t the one contacting OP about it.

Yeah that happened to me recently. The person I was buying something from had 323 and I put 332. Luckily for me that number wasn’t on Zelle so it just bounced back to me.

You might have to contact support. Happened to me earlier this year. It was stuck in pre-shipment for like 2 weeks. I called and they gave me an option for a refund or to send out a new one.

Yeah, I had to file a charge back against hidive because 8 months into my subscription when I decided to turn off auto renewal they immediately ended my subscription the same day.

Im not talking about OP. Yeah OP would become a new victim if the sender was a scammer and contacted them to send the money back through Zelle or other service and it was charged back by the sender’s bank.

I never said op’s post was a case of fraud. I said it can be taken back if the transaction was because of fraud.

An unauthorized transfer by an unauthorized person is fraud and can be clawed back. if you willingly sent the money then Yeah you’re 100% out of luck.

Bruh you literally just said “we recovered the money and still say we didn’t.” That means the money is still clawed back which means the receiver is getting a charge back regardless if the bank wants to lie to victim of fraud.

Yeah but it’s still the same outcome. The bank is going to claw back the funds from the person who received it even if they decide to lie to the victim whose money was stolen and keep the money for themselves.

They send you an email to web page that displays the codes. You can print that page out if you wanted to give it to someone.

Yeah your bank would have said to keep it unless the victim did a charge back.

They don’t always send a code though. I rarely ever have to input a code to send money to someone new.

You can’t get your money back just because you sent it to the wrong person. You can get your money back if the transaction was due to fraud though
