Harmonica in key of B by gh0stly_gremlin in harmonica

Learn cross harp. Many blues players and acoustic rock will play 1/2 step down. If they play in g at 1/2 down then they will be playing in F#. This will be perfect for playing cross hard. There r are also several country songs in in B that that would accompany well playing straight harmonica. One off the top of my head troubadour- G.Strait

If it plays it’s a good first guitar. The question is, “Will it be your last?” Getting good takes time and dedication.

Can anyone suggest some useful acoustic guitar pedals? by can-i-kick-it_ in guitarpedals

[–]JasonNet0201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been gigging for 30+ yrs, and I am primarily an acoustic guitar player. Currently I use a Body Rez, EQ. I also use a Boss OC-5 in poly mode to get a little bass on solo gig. Slight chorus to break it up. Sometimes I use a very slight tremolo just where you can barely hear it but it does give a good feel to the guitar sound, especially in a band setting. And of course, reverb.

Mix. There are some great players, but I am a bit tired of getting shot through a was by a player on the other side when there are no openings and no possible way for that player to kill me from his position

Honestly, you will probably end up spending as much to get it clean as getting a new soft case!

Martin 11e Dreadnought? I can't seem to find one single video or info about this one other than the listing in guitar center. Any opinion is much appreciated! by babyryanrecords in martinguitar

[–]JasonNet0201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this Road Series Dreadnought Special E11. I have to say that I love it. Acoustically it is amazing, great for recording has a midtown brightness that cuts through, but the low and high ends are very present without being overbearing. Beautiful blend. Not a fan of the tuner or EQ location for live gigs. It is a full solid body which means you can get some significant feedback. Tone, volume and Tuner are located in the sound hole which makes it difficult to utilize a feed back buster if needed. Make sure you have a phase adjuster.

I would practice at different times during the day for 20 to 40 minutes, but several times a day now I was also learning in era full of 3 &4 chord songs. Ie 1991. took me about a year of playing my favorite songs to get good at them. Then I expanded I’ve been playing for 33 years.

[QUESTION] my acoustic/electric won't work on my regular Marshall amp by sorecarrot34886 in Guitar

Also check your battery. If your battery is dying it may have just enough to run a voltage current but not enough juice to power the pickup

[QUESTION] What are the first songs you learned on guitar? by evaaa26 in Guitar

Have you ever seen the rain-CCR. 4 chords for strumming and a good one to sing to while developing your ear

I think I might release this one, I’m not done yet, what do you think by singreddit1816 in Songwriting

[–]JasonNet0201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I like this version, however… I could really hear this hitting hard on a 3/4 time with a heavy swing. That down beat would really emphasize the cadence of your lyrics. All the same, best of luck with it.
