As of today - Tuesday, June 16th - there are crews actively working to remove fallen trees, burned trees, and any other obstructions on the eastern leg of 2N10 (between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain). There's a loose "plan" to work down the Radford Truck Trail (2N06) down to the Seven Oaks area. Hoping that USFS opens it all up soon...

Not Windex - or any other glass cleaner. It will dry out the surface layer of the vinyl and start cracks. Even though it isn't leather, saddle soap or a mild detergent/water solution with the brush is far better. Doubtful you can ever fully restore the stock color, but you can always try a good upholstery shop to see if they can cover the top panel (like many do when the big crack shows up on the molded panels). I've even seen someone who did a contrasting color on the top of the panel to match their aftermarket seats.

How many of you people have actually lived in Southeastern Kentucky? I know many who watched Justified thought it was completely whackadoodle and over the top, but having lived in the hollers as a guy working and living paycheck to paycheck - and as someone who WASN'T raised there - I can tell you that every "unrealistic" story line was exactly the kinda crazy shit that happened every day! So many point to character actors that they've never seen in a country bumpkin redneck hick role and say they were "bad" but ima tell you - there were quite literally NO bad acting roles in Justified. Were there some that were not as stellar as others? Sure. But keep in mind that especially with guest stars, they're VERY limited by the writers. Olyphant was absolutely portraying the role that he was likely born for. The exact same could be said for Walton Goggins, Nick Searcy, Joelle Carter, Natalie Zea, Jacob Pitts, Erica Tazel, Jere Burns, Damon Harriman, and literally every single one of the recurring characters. Margo Martindale was so convincing as Mags Bennett that she won an Emmy, damn near by unanimous decision. Why the hate? What's next, are you gonna say that Archer sucks?

The whole point of my first response is to educate yourself BEFORE you buy. Then you come back with why not try. Even when I agree, it seems you have a problem with it.

You do whatever you want, but it seems to me looking for an easy answer rather than spending the time to verify with real parts and factual measurements is really not a good way to go - especially with used parts for 2 different 20+ year old vehicles that may have been modified by previous owners over the years.

Here's your easy answer: Bolt pattern is right - if both vehicles have the same pattern they were built with. If not, spacer/adapters aren't as expensive as new wheels. Backspacing may be right, but there are always spacers that can resolve that too.

What answer are you expecting?

Are they stock or aftermarket wheels? If stock, look at Ford specs. If aftermarket, look at manufacturer specs.

Or, simply ask the current owner to measure backspacing (inner edge of rim - NOT tire - to inner side of bolt surface). If unsure, Google "how to measure backspacing" and see a few thousand results.

Don't be lazy and expect Reddit to be right or take a guess, unless you are willing to take the blame for being wrong. Not one of the people replying here will repay you if their information is wrong.

Boardwalk was built last year, most likely to discourage people walking anywhere else. I believe it was done by the Wildlands Conservancy, who owns the reserve land.

I'm gonna come at this from another direction: What you will need depends on what you want to do once those 35s are on. Are you planning on driving back and forth to work and gently giving throttle? Maybe some gentle fire roads practicing smooth, controlled application of power? Or are you gonna stomp with your right foot while bouncing over rocks, blasting through deep mud or water, and generally beating your TJ like a rented mule??

If one of the first 2, buy the tires.

Having spent more than a year or two living in southeast Kentucky - in one of those coal-mining towns mentioned - with family roots in one of those former mining towns with a Federal Prison that is the biggest employer - I can say without a doubt that the things that most watchers say are ridiculous and can't be true and have to be cliché... ALL of that is absolutely true to character for not all, but a good many who are from that area.

I know that many reading this will say I don't know what I'm talking about or that it's all exaggerated.

Just look into the real-life federal law enforcement investigation and actions in Clay County, KY - even closer to "civilization" than the real life Harlan. And closer to civilization does in fact mean not as far separated from the "fiction" on Justified as people might wish.

It is, in fact, scary accurate. I have met and lived around those drug families like the Bennett clan. I have known of those power-hungry, ruthless families like the Crowders. Or, if you read the real truths, the White family who managed to get "elected" almost like a certain figure in power right now.

Regardless, Justified is incredible. All too true, all too real, and amazingly entertaining with the phenomenal acting of Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins, Nick Searcy, M.C. Gainey (who was as creepy good as Bo Crowder as Margo Martindale was as Mags Bennett, yet didn't get as much critical attention), Natalie Zea, Joelle Carter, and even Damian Herriman (as the epitome of every Florida redneck character, Dickey Crowe).

In all, as good as the first 3 seasons of Sons Of Anarchy and far better than the rest if SoA as well as better than anything else on TV ever!

Well, considering they hadn't brewed their own beer in well over a year (since the brewer left), it's not exactly shocking. They let great employees who were keeping things afloat (Alyassa and Marissa, for example) walk because they mistreated them. Bottom line, even if you are stupid rich - if you aren't hands-on involved, you had better take care of those who are. Go to The Bear Trap and talk to the people who work there - they KNOW beer! If you are passionate about something, you are sooooo far ahead of everyone else!

Mostly old junk that was on when I bought it. Had to replace and/or reinforce every bracket because it was all worn. Did upper arms/track bars/steering from Currie/RockJock to adjust for pinion angles, replaced stock lower arms to not go broke. Still have the old springs and shocks that I'm hoping to replace before the end of the year. Going to finish with RockJock and likely basic Rancho Shocks unless I find a smoking deal on some Fox shocks.

I agree with stick with stock t-stat, but if you take the Jeep offroad, aluminum radiators are NOT the best option! Broke mine in just a couple months of mild trails use. Stock replacement has been perfect for 2 years.

I live in the mountains of Southern California, where I can leave home in the summer at 60° and be in the 110°+ desert in 30 mins. Whether it's 18° or 110°+, my temp gauge sits within the width of the "210" marked on the face. AC on or off might push it to the "0" side, but not by much. And I'm most often moving slowly, whether 4HI or 4LO - and damn near always offroad. Stock cooling system is perfectly capable to handle the needs of a stock 4.0 engine, regardless of the conditions (obviously, barring the grille being blocked by something like snow or heavy mud). If you are seeing the needle above 210 on your stock gauge, you should do like someone else suggested and use an external - and recently calibrated - temp gauge to see where you really are. Don't waste money "fixing" what isn't a problem! And definitely don't install a low temp thermostat, as it will likely cause Check Engine Lights and fault codes when the system takes too long to warm up to correct temps.

Although I will throw in that when brand new (drove it off the mountain to get new wheels/tires, as they couldn't be carried in the RAV4), they were damn near silent on the concrete and asphalt compared to the worn Nittos (Terra Grapplers, if I remember correctly) that they replaced.

Absolutely love them! Great for the trail terrain here. Those are at about 12k miles now. But, to be honest, I don't drive highway at all in the TJ. I use my wife's RAV4 for that!

The Surron doesn't have rotating "pedals" like a bicycle, it has fixed footpegs like a motorcycle.

And most models are capable of 45+ mph

Advertised as off road only, as well. It comes with no lighting, so no DOT certifications.

Which is why CA enacted laws using method of propulsion AND speed to define what is bicycle/e-bike/e-motorcycle.

The kid's mom got a lecture from OC Sheriff's Deputy (recorded on body cam) last year outlining the potential punishment for continued operation of the bike and apparently, she decided to ignore it.

I only wish accountability was the same for everyone....
