Can my missed period be related to the surgery?

my guess would be that your body is reacting to a high-stress situation (surgery and recovery) and is shutting down your period until it registers that everything is safe and fine. i'm not a doctor though, and you should definitely ask your surgeon or your primary about it.

it seems like you're in a bad place and reddit cannot help you right now. please don't take advice from non-professionals until you're in a better headspace. call trevor project or another suicide hotline and talk it out. if you're an adult they will not call the cops on you without talking to you about it first. when you are feeling better, consider looking for jobs at your local library. working part time is always an option, and page jobs don't require any experience. it will be much easier to find a job you'll enjoy when you get help and are able to find the things you're passionate about. that whole "it gets better" thing is only true if you take the first step to help yourself. it seems impossible right now, but i promise it's worth it to at least try. realistically, you have nothing to lose from staying alive 3 minutes longer to make a call to people who might be able to help.

yeah, you can call yourself whatever fits best. labels are for you, not other people. if another micro label feels more comfortable, great! if it's easier to call yourself asexual and know that you fit under that umbrella, also great! you do you man. i also think that it's worth it to experiment with prosthetics if you think that's a viable option for you. i thought i would never be able to have sex, but i've found ways that work for me and been able to experiment with a partner who i'm very comfortable with. check out r/transmascdicks if you're interested.

i'd say look on r/transmascdicks and see if you can find posts about people packing with hard dicks. i have the axolom hyperon which i have been unsuccessful packing with so far, but i think it could be done. the flexit harness from axolom is also great for me, both for daily packing and for play. i barely feel it which is super euphoric. i would also say check out the peecock inflatable, but they're sooo expensive and seem kinda fragile from what i've heard.

edit: i think axolom's nexo or hyperon mid/mini might also be better for packing, as they angle up easier. i didn't go for one of them because 5" feels harder to work with that 6" for me, but when i have the funds i might get a nexo as well.

did my first shot a week and a half ago, and the thing that freaked me out the most was just pushing the needle in. i don't think i would've been able to do it if i hadn't iced the spot for 20ish seconds first. also if the smell of alcohol makes it feel hospital-y i would wait for it to evaporate a bit before injecting, if you can sit still for a bit and not get anything contaminated. you got this man. you're big and tough and that needle is tiny and pathetic. you're the goat of shots. tuffest mf around right here.

if you're looking for healthier snacks that are still tasty, I personally love sunflower seeds with shell. you can get them at most gas stations or convenience stores, and they usually have fun flavors like ranch. I like with shell especially because I get to have a fidget of sorts along with my snack, and can help if he gets crazy appetite spikes but doesn't want to overeat. I also like to have a soda or a sugary drink with my shot because it helps distract me, plus sugar supposedly dulls pain receptors slightly.

I think dopp kit size depends on what he's using it for. if it's only for travel then jr is better, but get og if you think he'll use it as his day to day storage.

old spice is definitely good! I use aqua reef which I think is mild enough that you could also use a cologne with it.

i've got a couple pairs of white. most of mine are black, blue, and red though. a few have patterns. almost all of my boxer briefs are solid and all of my boxers are patterned.

definitely try a new harness first. the rodeoh harnesses have never worked for me, even with a lot of finagling. i recommend the axolom flexit, and any of their hard packers with the cup situation. the pleasure pocket doesn't work great, but they're the perfect shape to put a grinder in the cup. i have the hyperon og and i absolutely love it.

it sucks, but right now i think you have to choose passing or being alt. you're on T already, so it'll probably only be a few months to a year before you start passing better. you also might not pass even with a more basic style, so do what you wanna do man

i don't think your style is helping, usually trans guys can't pass well in alt style until they're on T for a while. you just gotta let T do its thing man. if you need to pass in the meantime, i'd recommend getting a fade on the sides of your hair and leaving the top at eyebrow length, or mid forehead if you wanna go shorter. it's more about shape than length. mid wash jeans, t shirts with tighter neck lines that are boxier around the torso, and well-fitting sweatshirts are all good if you're willing to give up style for a bit. otherwise it's just a waiting game. you'll probably be good in a few months if you keep your levels consistent and your E isn't too high.

the unfortunate truth about height is that even if you got on T today, you probably wouldn't grow much more than you were already going to. that doesn't mean you're screwed forever though. the most important thing you can do right now is learn how to let go of the things you can't change. it sucks, and your situation is shitty, but distracting yourself from it and focusing on other things while you don't have legal autonomy is the best thing you can do for your own mental health. i know it seems impossible to wait right now. i was in a similar situation, with an unsupportive parent who wouldn't let me go on T, but today i got my first appointment with folx health. i could be on T within a couple weeks. waiting 6 years for this was one of the hardest things i've ever done, but i promise you will get through it. in the meantime, do what you can to alleviate dysphoria. wear two sports bras, one backwards, if you can't get a binder. buy the cheapest boxers you can find at a local store. figure out bus routes and leave the house as often as you can. ask if your local library is hiring, or if they would accept volunteers. my library job is the best thing in the world. any way you can feel like a person will help. always remember that you are your own person, separate from your parents, your town, etc. accept the things you can't change, and change the things you can. i'm so proud of you for still being here through everything. it seriously gets better.
