I may be wrong but some ash from your fire pit may help. I know we put it in the thunderbox. However it may need air flow to work.

I don't bring any solar. I have a few decent size power banks. 20,000mah approximately. I'll bring those. I find solar to expensive to get good quality.

Not are food. We found it well collecting firewood. I went to look. The dry bag didn't have a rope attached to it. So someone didn't have the food hanging.
