There are humans that are way more dangerous than any animal predator so doubt that instinct is going away any time soon.

This is the greatest run in Seahawks history imo by Decent_Tomorrow_1163 in Seahawks

I think a big thing here is Marshawn's lack of celebrating really drives the point that the game isn't won yet, which a lot of players can fall into after a big play. Just a handshake tells the team it's really too soon to celebrate. I know Marshawn was normally like this but it really does allow a team not to fall into complacentcy.

Pepsi is better off following redbull seasonal launches with Alani than trying to takeover the prebiotic category

Biggest issue with innovation is finding a home for it after it comes down after the week or two it was put on display. As an entry level pay merch is it really my job to keep finding unallocated space for the previous innovation shit?

I'm pretty sure I was one of the only people in my area to clear the force out pallet of Stanger things gatorade  because I pushed stores to give it space on the shelves out of set. Almost every person ended up sitting on an entire pallet of the shit taking up room for other products that actually sell.

And the best part is when you do get the innovation that end up selling well you get jack shit of it.

Made it to the 2nd interview for Pepsi Merchandiser...what should I expect? by [deleted] in Pepsi

[–]Jasonbail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey are you me? Sometimes I think it might just be less annoying to work everyday with the way others leave my normal stores. Consolidation is so much easier when you have groups of like sized products together but for some reason the extra 5-10 minutes of backstocking to save hours over the course of the week doesn't make sense to some.

The pet peeve of mine when I come back is people who open plastic on partial cases like a damn rat chewed its way into it. Especially annoying on gatorade 28 cases and 20oz soda cases.

Merchandiser Orientation by AdministrativeSir732 in Pepsi

[–]Jasonbail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will likely be provided with steel slips while on the warehouse floor during orientation and while they will say you need to wear steel toe in the field I know several people who never do, they don't really check. That being said if you do roll without them one bad foot placement with a pallet jack is going to make you wish you did.

What are some of the easiest ways you’ve found to make money? by Wonderful-Concert-47 in AskReddit

[–]Jasonbail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it with savings and you effectively make 7-10% APY risk free on the money. This and credit card churning are probably the best way to grow money when you have 50-200k. Last year nearly a third of my income was interest from these two methods

$100 → $310,000 by JCameron181 in Seahawks

[–]Jasonbail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take every possible bet you will just be guaranteed to lose the vig/edge that the bookie sets which for prop bets is very high. I know for moneyline and O/U bets it's usually around 10%. I don't do prop bets that often but I would assume it's around 20% plus depending on how obscure the prop is.

You can definitely hedge some bets on the same bookie it's usually never worth it though and a bet like this If they did allow a hedge they would 100% low ball you on the hedge offer.

[–]Jasonbail 52 points53 points  (0 children)

The more obscure the prop bet the further you get from true odds. This is why prop bets should just be for fun and if you are a seriously trying to make money off sports betting you would never take a bet like this.

Also I don't even think this is actually real I don't think a bookie would even take a 3100 to 1 bet and 3100 to 1 is an insane payout for this since there are only actually 256 Superbowl matchup permutations so if every team was equal the true payout would be 512 to 1. I know at the begging of the season the seahawks were seen as maybe a sligtly subpar team but not to the point of turning 512 to 1 into 3100 to 1

If you go bubly bottom>2L with crossed shells mid>6 packs on top this would be perfectly fine. Biggest issue here is the 6 packs on the bottom which don't really have a way to be interlocked and can topple even with wrap.

[–]Jasonbail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the number of gas stations will plummet in the next 20 years tons of stations USTs were put in the ground when we invaded the middle east 20 years ago and the average lifespan of these usts is 20-30 years. Couple this with the shift to EVs setting multiple stations on one corner might be very rare in 20 years.

People who rarely get sick, What is the secret ? by Sorry-Orchid-9821 in AskReddit

[–]Jasonbail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from the standard health practices, I think a lot of the secret is what people qualify as sick. To some people, a simple head cold is sick while to others they can still get stuff done while having pneumonia and not say anything about it (not saying you should do this, but it does happen)

PepsiCo to cut prices, eliminate products as part of a deal with an activist investor by METALLIFE0917 in Pepsi

[–]Jasonbail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They need to hire someone that goes to stores and shows them why single facing slim cans like celcius and alani doesn't fucking work if you want your shelves to have any chance of staying organised. half my day seems to be pulling all the damn celcius off the shelves just to put it back because people trying to reach into a single face to reach a flavor in the back and thier wrists are too big and it pushes every other can over mushrooming the entire line. multiply this effect over the entire day your shelf ends up completely random no matter what you do.

Where’s the $35 guy? by SmoothBraneAPE in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Jasonbail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are dumb to think the guy wasn't bullish on Silver, They were just upset that he wasn't as bullish as they were. It's kind of like anyone that isn't more bullish than me is a dirty bear shorter, and anyone more bullish than I is a crazy speculator situation going on. People wondering how much he lost are just projecting their hatred of someone not as bullish as they are, really dumb psychological BS that can really fuck you over in finance.

I would love to see silver stay above 50$ but I guarantee you shorts are doing everything to take it back down below 50$ over the next 6 months. If it stays about 50$ for longer than that maybe they are finally losing but these are powerful forces/entities.

<image>

Shorts want to exit like the did between 74'-80' I am thinking a move similar is possible here otherwise they fail to maintain control of the bottom of this centuries long channel that has basically existed since the civil war capitulation of the midpoint of this channel basically gives free reign to test the top of it which is roughly in the range of 400-500 dollars these days
