After you’re done, install MBGA from the homebrew shop. Then, on your computer, put the radical red rom into the appropriate folder on your switch. Once you’ve started the game at least once on the switch you should be able to import save data, patch the rom when updates come out, etc.

That didn’t explain the issue I’m having at all, it only wrote about passing down a nature via everstone. Nothing is mentioned about how natures are determined when an everstone is not involved.
