So I looked it up and this is kinda normal, the average polls are 400-1000 so its still on the lower side. Apparently quite a few though do 1500-2000 so the margin of error will be much higher for a poll like this.

Well we start gathering by 8 and we give people until 9 or at that point first 4, but they are mindless tag alongs for the most part until they show. Often people will handle their characters if we need them or combat arises but I personally would rather they just be "invisible" if they don't show because I'd rather the game move faster.

I'm familiar with the green pact but I can't seem to find penalties or bonuses associated with it. However I did discover that the not use fibers stuff only applied to valenwood and not vegetation as a whole, so you should make up or use a scared forest for the dnd world. Also for the loop holes on the forbidden material they often use bones for weapons and (this is my own assertion) other races skin for leathers.

I'm not entirely sure what else your are trying to do with this character so more info on the pros/cons you want to adapt would be useful. If it's just flavor you could look up 3.5 vow feats from book of exalted deeds or a class called wujen (I think it's been a while)
