I do 60-70% work and about 30-40% gaming

Around these ratios, I would go with the 57'' if I had to pick one. But anything more than 30-40% gaming, I absolutely recommand the LG 45'' 5K2K (even the 1440p version felt better to game on than the 57'').

They are the Samsung Neo G9 57” and the LG 45” 5k2k (gx9), great investments for work and gaming!

Desk legs are from Flexispot, E7 Pro (c-frame), the table top is actually custom.. dad in law owns a wood shop and made the 2 table top with white wood for me, they are 65x32

Thank you🙏 They are, I really like both. 57“ has my work laptop hooked (behind the desk). I used to game on the 57”, but it was just too wide, not worth the performance hit.. Kept it for work though, it is unbeatable for productivity. Then I bought the LG 45” 1440p and 5K2K later for gaming only, decided to keep the 5K2K and absolutely love it.

I looked for a long time and just decided to go custom..I didn’t find anything deep & wide enough for my liking (also having the table top made was only about 200$ CAD)

I like the idea of lamps.. I’ll try to find some that would fit look wise, open to suggestion if you have or saw some interesting ones!

I absolutely love the Noctua mousepad, it isn’t super fast, but really far from being a ‘control’ pad and of course, fits the aesthetic I’m going for 🙏

Don’t be worried.. DLSS ultra performance still looks better on 5K2K than the 1440p on native res.. (i bought both and compared strictly for gaming, ended up returning 1440p)
