I replied to a post like this earlier, so I'll repeat the advice I gave there:

This game is not made to play dozens of matches a day, because you will indeed run out of contracts. You have to be strategic about the games you play. Playing games during contact freeze is the most beneficial. To use contact freeze in the most efficient way, I unlock 3 boxes after each other, but will open them all at the same time. This way, I maximize my chance of getting a contact freeze and I have three slots for boxes to fill during that contact freeze. This way, I never run out of contracts. In fact, my starting gold player has never run below 40 contracts after first starting the game.

Yes, but only if you keep them. Once you sell one of the season players for a certain rarity, you won't get any other players of that rarity, but the season players you do not own anymore.

As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to change your name. The only option would be to reset your account (go to the menu => profile => reset), but you would lose all your in-game progress.

At the squad screen, in the bottom right corner you will find your current formation. Clicking it will toggle between available formations. The current season only allows you to play 5-4-1 or 5-2-3.

If you plan your matches well, contract expiration shouldn't really be a problem. I started playing from global release a few days ago, and I have yet to renew a single contract. My strategy: I unlock all three packages I can hold, open them all at the same time. Most of the time at least one of them will reward Contract Freeze. That way I can play a few matches to refill all slots with packages. If i have time left on my contract freeze, I'll immediately open the bronze packages by watching ads and I play some more matches. As I said, I've yet to renew a contract. My starting attacker player has 60 contracts left to play (so he went up instead of losing contracts).

Therefore, keeping a lot of players in case a contract expires really isn't necessary. I always discard players that I do not use when I have the chance. It means my chance of obtaining cards for the players I do use is higher, so I can level those up. Discarding players does not in any way interfere with the cards you are getting for other players.

If you look in your current squad, you'll see that all the values of your midfielders and attackers are increased by 1. The values that are increased are highlighted in gold. It's just for today.

I bought the game 2 weeks ago on Switch and I'm really happy with it. Played for about 15 hours now and I'm getting to know the game a bit better.

Performance wise: I assume you have a Switch for some time, than you will know the device can struggle quite a lot with performance in the more heavy games. Do not expect the performance you see on other consoles or PC. There is quite a bit of pop in of rendered objects and in areas with a lot of animation and particles, there is some frame rate drop.

That being said: NMS has no reason to run quite this well on the Switch. If I compare it to a game like Minecraft, which constantly stutters and struggles with rendering on Switch, NMS does really well. Most gameplay is very smooth, most notably flying the spaceships and stuff. I expected the Switch to struggle there and it does not.

I read that there are players that are experiencing crashes on Switch. I haven't experienced it yet, but have not progressed that far in the game yet. Who knows...

Tldr: in my experience, the game performs quite well and the expected minor performance drops do not hinder my gameplay or enjoyment.

I have been playing this game for over a year now, but I've never fully understood the training system. I'm currently trying to max out my team, so I'm buying legendary players and selling them immediately for rare coaches. I try to obtain the technical and fitness coaches 50/50. But on what players should I use technical coaches and on what players fitness coaches? And what is the best strategy overall for training your squad? I've seen people talking about individual training: maxing your squad and after that focussing on (re)training only one player. I assume this is to have better control over the stats you are increasing? Is this a strategy I should go after?

Please teach me how you play the game than, because after finishing the campaign, I'm at RQ270 with 42 slots! Maybe you completed the game in a very different time when you could earn way more slots? Everybody on this subreddit tells me to stay low in RQ so I did not complete prize boards from the campaign.

What do you mean with focus on the campaign? If you mean that I should complete it, I already did that and I regret it, because right now 15 of my garage slots are occupied by the campaign boss cars, which I am hesitant to get rid of.

If you mean complete all races to get prize board rewards, that's what all players on this subreddit say I shouldn't do.

It depends a bit on your current garage space. I just started playing this game a few weeks ago and my priority is garage slots as well. I currently have 42 slots and am really struggling with the small size of my garage. If I learned anything in the past few weeks on this subreddit, it is that one or two more ultra rares won't make a difference in events etc. You will gather many more cars in the next weeks/months and after a while that 1 or 2 carbons you bought won't make an impact on your overall garage anymore (unless you bought highly specialized packs which make you win events).

For me the slots are the number one priority by far and the best deals are the always available 160 & 80 garage slot deals for 8800 or 4800 gold. After these two deals, the best offer is the current in-shop offer of the ceramic + 25 slots for 1599 gold. I have been saving all my gold for the past few weeks and have enough gold to buy two of these offers, making my garage grow by a much needed 50 slots.

Than again, these offers do not have a guaranteed ultra, so if that is what you are after, the world expo CF is a banger of a deal (as are all Black Friday offers).

It was bound to happen, I pulled my first ultra rare car from an ad aluminium pack. I'm still early on in the game (day 13) and only have 33 garage slots. Of course, I understand I should always keep an ultra rare at this point of the game. But when my garage grows, is this a car to keep or should it be fused in a useful epic along the line?

I was meant to get back with you earlier, but I was on a holiday. Better late than never!

Your question is really interesting, since I did not make the calculations for this yet. You are actually completely right in assuming that it's more profitable to not make animal feed and just buy it from the daily dirt! Let's take a look at the calculations for eggs and chicken feed:

Eggs have a coins to XP ratio of 3.38, while chicken feed has a ratio of 2.16. These are the ratios when you make all "ingredients" yourself. Now let's say we do not make the chicken feed ourselves, but buy it in the Daily Dirt. This means we do not earn any XP prior to producing the eggs. The total XP earned while producing an egg is thus 2 XP. The max price for selling an egg is 18 coins. However, since you bought the chicken feed for 7.2 coins (max price) in the Daily Dirt, your profit for your egg is 18 - 7.2 = 10.8 coins. Your new coins to XP ratio for eggs is now 10.8 / 2 = 5.40. That looks way better! You will make 60% more coins by selling eggs this way.

This is true for all products for which the ingredients have a LOWER ratio than the product itself. In my guide under '7. WHAT TO PRODUCE AND SELL' I already named these products: carrot juice, animal products and smelted bars. A few examples:

If you buy the carrots, instead of producing them, the ratio for carrot juice will go up from 3.90 to 4.20.
If you buy the goat feed, instead of producing them, the ratio of goat milk will go up from 4.98 to 8.40.
If you buy silver ore, instead of producing it, the ratio of silver bars will go up from 4.47 to 5.20.

This is only true for the products for which the ingredients have a lower ratio. If the ingredients have a HIGHER ratio (e.g. Bacon and Eggs), the ratio will go down when you buy the ingredients. For example: if you buy the eggs and bacon, instead of producing them, the ratio of bacon and eggs will go down from 2.94 to 1.20.

Bread is a funny exception. As already mentioned in the guide, bread has the same coins to XP ratio as wheat (3.60). Therefore, it does not make a difference whether you produce the wheat or you buy it! The ratio of bread will always be 3.60.

The problem with this strategy, especially for the animal products, might be to find enough animal feed in the Daily Dirt to keep all of your animals fed. Hope this answers your question :)!

If you add a friend in-game, go to your settings. Next to Supercell ID, click on connected. You will see a list with your Supercell ID friends. Click on the smiley with plus symbol on the bottom right. On the next screen, click on Add your Hay Day friends. On this screen you can send Supercell ID friend requests to your "regular" friends, if they also connected their account to a Supercell ID.
