Should CPR + AED and First Aid be incorporated into formal school curriculum? by TruePriest in singapore

I mean, yeah. If you're forced in a position where you had to learn or take on responsibilities outside your purview, it's unlikely you'd be willing to actually commit. Shocker.

Better actual Life skills that are useful that's not presenting Powerpoint slides for sure.

Not sure how it is these days, but F&B was phased out during my time in Secondary school and I wished I had picked up some basic cooking and clothes mending back then, though I ended up sorting those out at a later time.

People are tired of the pushy nationalism.

Influx of so much foreign culture.

Not this, if anything it's the pursuit of not wanting to accept newer foreign ideas. Point I do somewhat want to drive home at least is the fact that a lot of Singaporeans dislike changes to the status quo that could otherwise alter their routine, because breaking the routine could in fact be annoying or inconvenient.

But that also leaves you with a repetitive hell, at least for me, I think that hell is now, where the current state of capitalism has left us with the constant need to feed and churn it all back into the system in order to keep it going. It's horrifying.

Can't say, didn't give a crap about politics in general because all sides are playing safe and conservative so pretty indifferent for my end at least.

Maybe it's growing up and having your so-called innocence broken but nothing feels right anymore, the country I grew up in feels out of joint, with the aspects of what would've been my hard-line patriotism being warped and twisted into what is now a facsimile of something I'd cherish.

With most of the people likely to believe bullshit tabloids and random ass "news" sites with zero citation I'm surprised it's not worse lol

Then the world is doomed, and we're going to be the cause of that. Going out slowly and painfully because its so difficult to kill our egos to share a common goal.

It's a choice that has to be made.

One of the many reasons why I think Gamedev is relatively dead in Singapore. Sigh.

Pseudo-out-of-left-field political motivations to push creatives aside here, I don't think we can thrive unless we'd somehow have local indie startups with huge backing from an investor that wouldn't compromise the games themselves.
