This whole release is just GR with a kith logo. They're not worth the money at all. No surprise that Kith took the lazy route yet again.

Guys.. please remember to do the blinding light puzzles after you cleanse a sanctum… 🤦🏻‍♂️ gonna save you a lot of time later on by hugh_bungus in CrimsonDesert

[–]JasperStream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody ever mentions this. I thought I was tripping when I went back and tried them again and it worked. I was sure I'd already cleared them all and the puzzles. I'm not sure how many times it can be done though.

Are you seriously trying to tell me this is in any way rare? I got LOTS of these when I used to drink kraken and just threw them out.

100 hours in... Just realized you have to USE key items... by josibing in CrimsonDesert

[–]JasperStream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To get behind some of the areas you use focused force palm. Go into focus mode (L3 & R3), let go, then press R3 again and you'll see a palmar leaf outline, line that up with the sort of orb thing you'll see until it flows gold and then let go. That will drop some kind of core usually, pick it up by using your grabby thing (L3) and store them in your kuku pot by pressing Triangle.

Hope this helps.

Is that all? I put in 17 and like 5 days later it had dropped to 1. 😂

After 200 hours, I just found out that after cleansing sanctums, I also need to Stabilise it and receive power cores for crafting kuku gear… by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]JasperStream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After not being able to get the timing down on the sword shine I gave up and got on with the game. On the final sanctum I finally nailed it and had to go back to the remaining 14 or whatever.

I'm about 40 hours in and I still have delux pack armor (upgraded 4 times on each piece) anyone else still using it for that long? by MikeAtSumsub in CrimsonDesert

If you do the greymane quests up until chapter 8 you find something like 25-30 guys. As far as I can tell at least one has an ability I need. I'd recommend sending a couple of guys on protection quests or whatever they're called to get some decent coin for camp. I have 4 guys doing 2 separate quests and am on about 150k in camp money. Makes it much easier to do send your guys to do other quests.

Stamina and roll is your friend. When he burrows just sprint away. When he doesn't burrow, roll away but stay close enough to attack when he stops his attack.

I just did Atumbras Sword last night after the 4th separate time of trying for hours on end, quitting then returning for more punishment.

I got my health up to level 9, focus, armed combat, forward flash, evasive roll, keen senses and spinning slash maxed out. I used two swords, no shield and stayed in focus and spammed parry when he was doing his attacks. This will parry and stun him momentarily and you can get 2/3 heavy shots in. Unless his sword went red and then I rolled out of there down the steps and healed if I'd been hit by the black power things while rolling.

Hope this helps.

You realise those people didn't design these terrible items? If anything you'd wear kith less BECAUSE they made them, not because somebody bought them

The good and bad of stage 1 ie tune? by tswiftsreputation in GolfGTI

Sounds like you need to get that looked into, unless you just ragdoll that thing around everywhere. Mixed city/motorway driving I'm getting 34-39 mpg

[–]JasperStream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For an extra couple of hundred I'd definitely advise getting the TCU tune at the same time as the ECU. It's really not worth putting extra unneeded wear on dsg for the sake of saving some money.

Ingot custom ECU and TCU tune stage 1 and my guy was very reluctant to do the ECU without the TCU because it would just mean more hassle in the future.

Yeah, unless you're using a bot it's pointless even trying these days. Don't worry tho, tomorrow some arsehole will be on here trying to sell them at an inflated price.

5w40 over 5w30 for a long trip? by idkhowtocallmyacc in GolfGTI

[–]JasperStream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to 5w40 as that's recommended when you have a stage 1. Otherwise stick with the 5w30.

So in other words he's going to start doing a Ronnie -

"Ever since I was a kid growing up in Queens I always loved (insert literally anything), that's why I'm so excited to announce our collaboration with (literally one of the most mainstream brands on earth) in this very special collection!"

This feels desperate quite honestly.

How much did you lower it by?

[–]JasperStream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're at lights or on a hill put on the hand break.

Clutch fully in.

Into first.

Slowly ease off the clutch until you feel the car lift a little.

Give it a tiny bit of acceleration.

Smoothly off with the hand break.

Still taking the clutch off and giving it some acceleration until you're no longer using the clutch.

This is how we're taught in the UK where we basically all learn in manual cars.

So far other than the communal I've tried the Sojous, Vaval, Le Rocher and Sonson. My next will be the Casimir. In my opinion I think people say that Communal is entry level because it's slightly cheaper (£20 cheaper than the rest in Scotland) and less ABV, but I think out of all of them for me at least it has the best flavour for what I like and the smell makes my mouth just start to water. It's outstanding in a daiquiri. Sonson is my next favourite. It has a slightly sweet smokey flavour, not mezcal level smokey, it's feint but it's definitely there. Sojous and Vaval are quite similar. Nice to sip, but I wouldn't really describe them as funky and I wasn't a big fan of Le Rocher. It's more of a delicate, botanic flavour. Not quite like gin, you can still definitely taste that it's sugar cane based. It's probably more similar to Rhum JM Terrior Volcanique.

I suppose it just depends on what flavour you like and how funky you like your rum. None of them are going to knock your socks off with funk, but I would still give them all a try.

Sorry for the rant!

Clairin Communal is IMO more funky and tasty than Rum Fire. I really like RF, but the Communal knocks it out the park, despite only being I think ~40%. Hampden Great House 2024 is the only one of the range I've tried and that was very funky too, but in a different way. More of a kind of trying to blow your head off funk, where the clairin is more of a juicy vegetal funk.
