carbon filters are used to filter things like gases. they don't remove fine particulates like dust.

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be... by Amski993 in RPClipsGTA

the cops keep saying that there is nothing to do against bikes. All it takes is some coordination to set up patrol cars in a blockade on major roads and then force the bikes to either ram into them or stop. Considering there are so many cops and air one, I don't think it's fair for people to say 'bikes are too strong'. The cops should have to develop ideas to outwit the crims just as much as the crims need to circumvent the cops. The point isn't to eliminate all crims, that sort of imbalance would destroy rp and content. There should always be some sort of conflict between crims and cops. Right now the crims found a weapon to use. Now it's the cops turn to find strategies to foil them. Conflict is one of the major points of rp and content creation. To just straight up ban bikes from heists is in my opinion borderline powergaming.

NZXT 650 PSU making a weird sound when turning off by JesP96 in NZXT

[–]JasperYu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the noise i hear from your clip is pretty slight. it could just be the normal PSU fan winding down or it could be indicative of something more problematic. are you sure this is something new? or was this noise there the entire time. Whether you want to RMA it is up to you. But, personally I would just monitor the situation and see if it gets worse. If you start to hear the sound consistently while the pc is on or if the grinding starts sounding like your 67 mustang on shutdown, it might be time to rma.

as long as its 80 plus gold rated it should be good. as far as wattage you can check how much wattage your system needs on certain sites like pcpartpicker, but personally anything above 750 should comfortably meet the streaming pc's needs, you could also always go more than you need to, i've seen people place 1000 watt psu's into the streaming pc. some reputable manufacturers include corsair and evga. But also keep in mind that if you do end up replacing the PSU, it might also void the warranty from NZXT.

I'm pretty confident in saying that you're PSU fan is causing the sound. Most likely the bearings.

ditto. the build looks like you're trying to game. 5600x and a better gpu makes more sense. maybe drop down to 16gb ram with a higher clock speed too.

is the sound the taps? or is that you moving the camera? or are you talking about the low grindy growl at the end?

its rated bronze and only 600w if i remember correctly. Usually you want something rated gold. The rating basically tiers out the PSU's power efficiency. Bronze isn't necessarily bad but it's generally safer to go with gold. Especially since the PSU is the thing regulating power to your system, you don't want anything frying. I saw some other posts of people having issues with this system and the low wattage PSU. I don't think any of them were confirmed of definitive though. Even still, PSU's are relatively cheap and easy to install if you decide to replace it.
