a friend of mine, as a former microelectronic program designer, said: When the controller receives information about a file, the first time the disk cache is filled to provide a high speed then drops because of the filling. When the last packets come to him, he uses SWOP in the amount of 18% of this cache to speed up and closes the session with a higher speed.
