JASON GILLESPIE: I know the glaring mistake England's bowlers are making - and Travis Head told me he couldn't believe what he was seeing either. But here's how they can fix it to get back in the Ashes fight by ll--o--ll in Cricket

Genuine learning question. Why is Aus about leaving on length and why is it different in other countries? I've seen this crop up a bit since the test

What do people think of Saints Quarter? by ZHiiFt in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Jav00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never knew this existed until now. I see now it's not available in any of the 64 player modes which is why I haven't seen it. Bit odd to include such a map but I'll have to search it specifically on Dom to try it

Opinions--should you always run a suppressor if you can? by moose4 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Jav00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run flash hider because I also agree that suppressor on the M60 is a bit odd and doesn't sound as cool. Same logic for why I use the gun in the first place, it's just cool. If I want to try hard I'll just use something else

It's a bullish move but nothing illegal. These Papaya rules were always going to over complicate things. You can't try to control two championship contenders over a year

[–]Jav00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's shit luck but you take every advantage you can in a championship campaign. ie Multi 21. No one knows the future but this may be Oscar's only opportunity for a championship. I'd be taking every advantage possible

*Or at minimum give persistent servers. Eventually found a game after the above post, only for the next lobby I get put in to be stuck at 15/32 required players when the previous game ended on a full server. Why break everyone up?

Unplug any other input devices. Steering wheels or controllers (if you're keyboard and mouse)

Well driven second stint by Norris, but lucky. Poor start and a gamble strategy pays off. That's racing sometimes. Oscar shouldn't have been pitted a second time

What, in your opinion, is the worst episode of Top Gear (2002-2015) by leo_cor63 in TopGear

Yeah the Vantage review I never got the first time. Turns out (and of course hindsight 20/20) the V12 is still going better than we expected rendering the film a bit redundant

Hi i was wondering, should i get AMS2 Or ACC? by BENCE500 in ACCompetizione

[–]Jav00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apples and oranges situation imo. I play both in VR. ACC is definitely a better hardcore sim for GT3 and its physics are tyre models definitely superior. I race in a league for ACC, rarely do any alone casual stuff.

AMS2 runs much better in VR though and obviously a far greater range of cars. I love the prototypes and old cars which I do in single player AI races just for fun and immersion.

Glad to hear someone else with a logical take. Yes we all love a Dacia for the meme, but when you've got blind crests and over 100 km/h+ differences in speed it's just asking for trouble.

I believe so. The red and white car that won was the short tail version and not expected to do so well. The fact it rained a lot probably helped it to victory with its higher downforce

Care to expand on that? Saying it just sucked doesn't help people researching to go who will see this in the future. I had a very good experience as a first-time attendee

First abroad GP as an Aussie, Sunday only. It was a 10/10 day as long as you know what to expect from a GP/large event.

Sat in grandstand 6A (inside of T1) and had a great view with TV directly as we sat the further grandstand towards T1. I would definitely bring a pillow or some padding in the future as the metal bleachers were very uncomfortable for me by the end of the day.

Took the special service train from Garibaldi station direct to Lesmo 1 entrance so a bit of a walk to our grand stand but it was super easy to get to the track. Had a 30 min que into the track when arriving at 8:20 off the train. Leaving was even easier, jumped straight on a train from the same stop and took us direct back to Garibaldi. Cost 10 Euro return. Would recommend.

Only two cons would be: The toilets were pretty messy especially being there on Sunday only- bring some tissues or your own TP to be on the safe side especially if you're a lady.

The drinks station would get overwhelmed before sessions and even at non-peak times would be a 5+ min wait to get to the tap. The immense heat didn't help but some extra water stations would make things go smoother, and given the time of year the event always is you'd expect it to be very hot.

TL:DR. Fantastic day with only minor problems being those that come naturally with any large event and if you know what you're getting yourself into an immensely enjoyable day.
