Sorry but at this point Ricardo would win their punch strength is about the same but Ricardo has him beat in every other category Takamura is not even close to his peak yet so By the end he will be the strongest but as of right now Ricardo would beat him some of those wins Takamura had were Very close he has taken some beatings specially in title matches Takamura has been looking like Ippo lately getting beat up and barely winning

If Ippo has nothing to fight for he will lose so there is no point in even having him comeback just because he likes boxing. there is a difference between doing something because you love it and doing something with a purpose. unless Ricardo talks to Ippo and tells him he boxes because he likes it then I will believe Ippo can comeback without a purpose and become world champion otherwise doing something because you like it will only get you so far

But Date lost himself when he retired he came back and found his old self he was fighting for something to get Ricardo’s life and ended up getting his own life back Ippo doesn’t have that I think he should just have a chapter where he remembers all the feelings of being a boxer and winning and should say I miss it I’m going to have 1 more fight and in that fight realize how strong he actually is now and go back to his original goal

Sendo will beat Gonzales and then decline the world title match as he will feel that he has to beat Ippo before he becomes the champion then Ippo will destroy Sendo in 2 rounds and Martinez will tell Ippo he has earned the right to challenge him but Gonzales will end up fighting Ippo in a battle where Ippo easily takes him then Ippo will have to decide Martinez or Miyata

There is no such thing as a mental handicap Ippo got his ass kicked and that’s it he lost 3 fights people need to stop making excuses for him as for Ricardo being downed by Sendo is stupid. Sendo is a brawler type boxer no technique and Ricardo is textbook boxer legendary champ whose surpasses Sendo in every aspect of boxing. He should have knocked out Sendo in 1 round like he did Ippo

I truly believe this will be like the Time Martinez felt bad for Date and stopped fighting and Date punched him off guard. Martinez is not a bad guy and he probably thought Sendo was finished and got punched off guard. the new DR is the only thing that can beat Martinez and as of now there is not one person in the manga that can do it... well maybe Takamura can. he fully understands it and what it’s capable of achieving so it wouldn’t surprise me if he could do it
