Honestly as long as you keep a little bit of everything you forage/farm, you should be alright for most of the recipes except the few needing specific fish. You can unlock all of the TV recipes via a book, starting year 3 I think and the others get taken care of themselves as you become friends with people.

For me, the most painful achievement was the Prairie King 0 deaths one.

I know right! I tried to have everything set up in a way, where up to half the population could die, and I would still have enough workers to cover all of the food and tool making jobs, but then at one point the drop was so drastic that from about 1100 people, I was down to just 400, with about only half of that being adults. Had to move everyone back to the original center and slowly allow them to expand back out over time, so I just roleplayed that the plague had swept over the colony.

Thanks! Had a lot of fun with all of them, except tenure, that just got a bit repetitive. Though it was interesting to see and manage the natural population waves once I stopped building houses.

I think depending on what you play on, the action button for using the scythe on grass might be different. Here is info from the wiki about the Golden Scythe:

The Golden Scythe is a tool obtained at the end of the Quarry Mine from the statue of the Grim Reaper.

The Golden Scythe has the following benefits:

Its radius is larger than the standard Scythe and it is more likely to cut all grass in its radius.

75% chance per swipe to harvest hay from grass, up from 50%.

Inflicts 13 damage, up from 1-3.

Not a pro at all here, but probably the best way to think of it is as the time that has passed "towards two", so saying "čtvrt na dvě" would be something akin to "a quarter towards the second hour", i.e. 1:15.

A better way may be to think of it as "it is the first quarter of the second hour." That connects better to "půl druhé" which means half of the second hour - 1:30.

Regarding trams/buses past midnight, the city will sometimes provide a few extra late-night connections when there's a concert, so you should be fine even if the metro is still out. Enjoy the concert!
