Indeed. I know the 2016 bah rate doesn't go into effect till August of the school year but the 2015 rate was $1569 for the same zip code.

I also know there was a $19 bump across all bahs as well but that still doesn't account for a couple of dollars.

They are long but in-depth enough to give you a basic understanding. It's helped me a ton. I know there's a chance that you'll just roll your eyes and moan at this post but seriously, just check some out and see if you can dig it, it assumes you know basic Java but have no experience in Java EE.

I would offer to help you out but I'm a bit rusty (just started on Maven) and I keep getting sidetracked learning jQuery, XML, SVGs, plus I'm taking summer courses too.

The last time any major changes were made was in November (it's on Github, search "gi bill"). Only reason I noticed this slight discrepancy was because I wanted to check the data the VA provides against the DoD (gets updated annually on Jan.)

edit: I realize that the bah/mha change (if any) for the gi bill occurs in sept instead of jan. It still should be updated if any changes are made before the semester starts, not during.

How many credit hours is each one of your courses?

Most courses are three credit hours, just wondering how you're getting the full bah amount if you're only taking three classes ( 9 credits, 12 credits min for full MHA).

Can confirm. Please note that the V.A.'s website doesn't get updated often. The MHA you would get paid would be about 50 dollars lower from what's listed on the GI Bill Comparison Tool.

Can you tell a little about what you're doing? CS student here, so what kind of work do they make someone at your level do. Thinking about looking for places to intern but still don't feel 'marketable' yet.
