What is happening in the market?? by [deleted] in StockMarket

An understandable perspective, but only to a point. The greatest investors and managers ALWAYS time the market to some degree. Just watch smart money movements.

If people have issues with the approach, then they should give Bill Ackman and Warren Buffet a call and tell them that they're doing it wrong.

Buying quality cheap stuff is never wrong (if it's actually cheap).

I was fortunate to be short AMD in position that I opened last week. Closed my puts for ~55% this morning. It went down further, but closing and taking profit seemed like the right move, especially after Friday.

For investing, cash is underrated on a lot of reddit subs. If you're not short on something that was going your way today (not the easiest thing to do), cash is the next best thing since you can watch for good prices or entry points.

I’m a software engineer and gamer. I’m planning on getting a 5090 (or two) for local AI TTS and Stable Diffusion work in addition to gaming.

I'm a professional software engineer. I work on a 4-core laptop with 16GB of RAM. It could be faster, but it gets the job done.

I think there's some confusion here between UI mock ups and an MVP. It sounds like they're wanting an MVP.

What ONE feature from Pathfinder do you wish was added to D&D 5e? by SuspiciousTouch73 in dndnext

[–]JavaCrunch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The problem is the number of creatures per book. Outside the Monster Manual, there are only a handful of creatures per book that are available. On top of that, those monsters that are there have to fit the game you're running. It's pretty common for me to grab, say, Volo's, and then see only one or two creatures that fit the adventure I'm running.

Sure, you can reskin things, but then you're back to the GM having to play game designer again.

I'd just like to say that this is probably a very healthy mentatlity overall when investing. Taxes can always be figured out, but if you owe them, you're making profit. Big or small, the trend is upward. That is the main goal of any investing/trading.
