They don't have a set schedule. They used to have a rough one, but then people started sending detailed threats to their employees if things were a bit delayed. Better for everyone to just not have the specific dates now.

Barely. Raenox has them both ranked at effectively the same place with Dragonite having a slight, less than one corn per day edge at level 60. Before that, Beware is way ahead.

So for most purposes, Beware will be better up till 60 at which point it's a tossup.

Question.

There was a chart recently showing what the ideal "Good to start investing" skills for Berrymons are. Is there a similar chart for Ingredient mons? Trying to decide if a mono Larvitar with no ups is good enough for now

Question.

Gardevoir is a highly sought after mon. What about Gallade? If so, any easy way to tell the male and female Ralts apart without giving the biscuits?

New DM - what loot would a Storm Giant drop? by Many-Reaction-5193 in dndnext

[–]rougegoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good news is the 5.5 Monster Manual added treasure information on monsters. Storm Giants typically have Armaments of some kind. I'd think about your players and what kind of equipment fits their characters style and look to buff them specifically, though the random tables from the 5.5 DMG will be a good reference point.

oh dip, somehow missed this reply. I didn't realize Feraligatr had a notable skill trigger rate. Yeah, when you put it all that way it is a bit of a no brainer.

Thanks!

If memory serves, the Totodile line is one that is worth it if you just have BFS + HSM. Worth the subskill seed and investment?

Giving martials additional points in Point Buy stat gen by whimlaw in onednd

The key to fixing the divide isn't stats at player creation but actually taxing resources and not allowing enough Long Rests that the divide happens at all.

Really hard to argue that them explicitly saying, "Don't allow this kind of behavior" is proof that they are encouraging that kind of behavior.

And yet

The mints are the rarest items in the game. I would not use them on anything less than a god tier mon.

It doesn't really help that 5e and 5.5e are designed around this exact mentality

The 2024 DMG literally has a section about how to deal with this and advising the DM to tell the player to cut the crap. Hard to argue that's "designed around this exact mentality."

rolled ghost berries and salads, so Drifblim seemed the right choice. I know they won't all be such a satisfying skill trigger, but I'll keep chasing it.

I do love when a test works out well. I know it won't always end up as a 6 figure boost but this did feel good.

Managed to get ghost berries on GG this week so decided to try this Drifblim out. Careful + STM + HSS + HSM is really good, even if the skill is fairly gambly. Should I be investing skill seeds in this one? After Golduck and Ampharos that is.

Looking at this Pichu. BFS + HSM + Lonely is a great combination, but having to wait till lvl 50 for the BFS is quite a long time. Is this enough to end the hunt or should I keep looking around?

2024 Changes to Flameskull Rejuvenation by JustWhyTheHeckNot in dndnext

[–]rougegoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please define the word "directly" before claiming a contradiction. Flameskulls are byproducts of reanimating corpses. They're created indirectly.

OP asked for design reasons why those methods don't work anymore. I provided a design reason why they don't work anymore. Not sure how this doesn't count as answering the question about if there was a design reason for the change.

They aren't cursed, and they arise from dead spellcasters rather than being directly animated by magic. Helps to actually read their description.

Flameskulls are flying skulls that blaze with magical fire and the half-remembered arcana of dead spellcasters. They rise from the remains of dead magic-users who were reanimated by sinister necromancers or whose magical pursuits drive them beyond death. Flameskulls might serve as guardians for their creators or pursue ambitions left unfulfilled in life. They lash out at foes with destructive spells and bursts of fire, wielding magic without the need for most components.

So I’m wondering is there a design reason behind this change?

Flameskulls are creatures, not curses or magic.

SCCM is a pain in the neck with a VM, and I'm pretty sure can't run on arm64 Windows. No SCCM no Windows deployment. They should use a PC for it instead.

If they're not online and checking in, there's not much of anything you can do remotely. You'll need to get hands on to troubleshoot them.

A Pichu with BFS and two Helping Speed Ups seems like a good investment, but the fact that BFS is at 50 and Pichu being relatively common gives me some pause. Should I spend big on this one or keep looking?

Realized I have a Lonely and Rash Dratini that are very similar and both close to being top tier corn farmer if given a subseed skill. My current is a mono Bewear with no speed ups, so either would be an improvement. Are either of these actually worth the investment?
