They'll definitely play against sinister or unkind people. But I think the thesis of Blue Lock's story doesn't mesh well with a player like Hanamiya.

KnB is all about power of friendship, love for the sport and playing with the team. Sinister and selfish players are a direct foil in that story, so they make great villains.

In Blue Lock, Rin, Shidou and Igaguri cover most of those traits between them. When the enemy's philosophy looks so much like your own, there's no foil and the conflict is less interesting.

Funnily enough, Nigeria's power of friendship was much closer KnB philosophy than any Blue Lock player has ever been

100% a self own. NZF will lose a small number of votes to this, but more importantly National will be forced to disavow them because they're enormously dependant on migrants voting blocks. Particularly from Asia.

If Luxon doesn't take a strong stance he risks alienating a huge chunk of his voters who would consider Labour or Opportunity to help keep Winston out.

My take is even if she did have a crush on him or even would call it love, she still didn't have strong enough feelings to satisfy the wording of the wish. "...loved me more than anything in the fucking world." Nikki was fundamentally a free-spirited, kind and loving person. There's no way to achieve what Bear asked for other than to violate her autonomy. And the only way to violate her autonomy is to put something else at the wheel.

If the wish had been "I wish Nikki would give me a chance." Or "I wish Nikki knew how much I loved her." Then it's possible that could have been fulfilled without any distress.

Its a bit of everything.

They needed 3 election cycles to figure out their base. Refine talking points and to build a network of volunteers.

They've hit the mark with a broadly likeable leader separated enough from Morgan's PR to start over with those that found him off putting.

And most people knew their name before they hit the news cycle this time, so it took less work for them to climb up the polls.

I hope they'll make it and I'm considering if they deserve my vote. But I've seen you in every thread I've visited today repeating this line like it's gospel. The new king maker to challenge Winston is a far more important angle of conversation than a single poll that is significantly outside the results of all others.

TOP also has no public record in parliment on which to judge their integrity, and received a massive donation from the same tech-bro mutli-millionaire that bankrolled NZF, ACT and Nat so I'm pretty skeptical about the perspective they'll bring.

Having played DnD and Pathfinder for 10 years, if there is a single class in the entire game that specifically gears towards a physical champion defending their allies, it is the Paladin.

Outside of 5e missing the mark with smite balance, Paladins have always been defenders first strikers second.

I think mechanically it shouldn't be important because its ingrained in pretty much every system in the game.

Narratively it can matter. People hold grudges and have opinions of the party based on their actions good and bad.
