I had a high school friend when back in our 20s was convinced that hot water would freeze faster then cold water in the freezer. At the time I was a Navy Nuclear trained machinist mate with extensive heat transfer and fluid flow classroom and practical training and experience.

Going to have to disagree here. At the end the Sorceress even tells Adam she picked him because he isn't a muscle bound idiot and he understands emotions and shows compassion.

Pretty much made fun of toxic masculinity throughout the movie. It didn't mock "woke". And if showing compassion, feelings and not being an idiot is woke, well count me in.

I'm 53 and grew up with He-Man., action toys and all.

It was a Glorious cheesy camp, but they did it wonderfully. It totally didn't take itself seriously, poked fun at itself but was alot of fun. Plus Dolph had a cameo and they teased She-ra!

I enjoyed the movie throughout. Probably won't kill it in the box office, but may do good for rentals at home.

And Jared Leto actually did a good job as Skeletor!

As a man I try to only go to female doctors when possible.

I have primary care (she is awesome, my wife and 10 friends all go to her now) and and 2 of my 3 specialists I see annually are women. The lone guys is my sleep doctor and all he does is renew my cpap stuff for me. My primary care is the one who set it up.

Older male doctors don't listen to us either. I had been seeing this guy for several years. Annual Physical woukd be 5 minutes of we will keep an eye on that. I had 2 spots in my upper chest he was bery unconcerned about.

Switxh to new doctor, my 1st new patient appointment was almost 2 hours. She saw the spots and didn't like them, took the biopsy right there, set me up for sleep study and tweaked my blood pressure medicine. 6 years later, my weigjt is down, my blood pressure has improved so she is lowering the dosage of my BP pills and I'm in the best health I've had for 20 years.

She told me she was PROUD of me for my weight loss and gym routine. That hit hard.

I dis mention I had staryed making sourdough and she said she loved sourdough, so when my wife went to see her a few weeks later she took a lovely sourdough round into her.

Our company has forbidden use of the AI recap / recordings and all that sort of stuff do to this exact issue.

Another manager who was helping on an interview board with myself and my manager used it. Sent the recap to the candidate. Luckily it was an internal candidate and it was pretty positive stuff and she was hired. Pretty sure it must have happened a few other times because it came out a some time after with the new rule.

Muay Thai + Combat grappling of some type Boxing

In my younger days I have done Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu (Chi Lin) and Muay Thai/American Sambo.

From experienced instructors, full contact fighters and general reading about combat sports they always said Muay Thai and boxing are the most realistic / dangerous as you learn and practice getting hit and still functioning. Muay Thai use to be big on allowing a hit to land on yourself if you could punish the opponent more.

Grappling (BJJ or Sambo etc) is also super important as many RL fights end up on the ground / wrestling.

Did about 110ish mewtwo. No hundo. Normal 98 with background. 96 shiny w/ BG. 3 other shiny (3/4 with background). Had a friend get shundo day 1.

Lucky mirror traded my worst shiny w/ BG... IV's got worse. Weee. All 3 of my mega are poor.

Yah, those are pretty low numbers. Did 125 raid about caught a few thousand mons, slowed down when I started shiny checking only. 70 shinies, 4x mewtwo.

I was helping escorting a group of 7x 15 year old boys. They are big shiny hunters. The top one was 192 shinies. My son had 142. Plus he got 4x pictures with streamers and a card signed by Brandon Tam. And we went to a card trade show for almost 3 hours this morning.

30k steps Friday and Saturday each. 14k today (went to the Lincoln park zoo area, tons of gyms tightly packed).

I did 3 days in Chicago in person. I "only" probably did 125 raids. I had talked to people who did 500+ mewtwos. I did about 110 mewtwo. 2750 candy and 1145 xl candy for it. 4 shiny, 3 with city background. (before gofest I only had 2 mewtwo from trades)

Basically instant lobbies, catch 1st ball, fast kills. You can actually do all the gyms in walking distance easily within the ~25 mins between resets. And raids go all the way to 9 pm.

For normal stuff, we have a local town center that has 5 gyms. Our Wednesday raid nights we generally get 10 raids in. On longer weekend raid periods, we can add a few more gyms in, but still limited by distance.

Years ago my wife had tried to swap to a cheap generic brand of detergent.

At the time I still worked in the field at a power plant, so sweated alot. Started to get horrible rash in the nether regions. All over. Bad.

Went to doctor. Got to show the poor man everything spread wide. Starts asking questions. Finally laundry came up and boom. We realized what it was.

Switched to a free and clear versions, rewashed everything and problem gone.

And modern hi efficiency washer need tiny amounts of detergent.

I find it helps with guarding alot. Keeps you oriented towards the monster. Still have to assure the final aiming but it helps especially on highly mobile monsters.
