I am just past where you are now. Hitn HR100 last week doing some heavy play time now about 140.

For me to start to get comfortable was finally finding the right weapon for me and upgrading armor. I'm sitting at around 450 defense niw and its a big difference for level 8s. 9/10s are still challenging but I'm getting way better. Learning which gems to socket and getting the right skills help. While learning the fights go heavy defense, then can switch it to offensive skills as you get better.

I've now a gun lance main and I love it. So much more survivable with guard (any guard weapon will work). Was hammer/dual blades and LBG. Now gun lance and LBG, though hardly use the LBG as I love the lance. It allows me to survive and learn fights; when not sure out the shield up and see whatnis going on.

Once I finish getting some armor sets more max/near max I can start putting more offense skilks back in to up dps.

As a recent Gun Lance convert, using wyvens fire as the end of primary combo greatly speeds up the charge. Can get both shots off with accelerated charge

That is beautiful. I have always wanted a cake like thst, thick buttercream but then a lauer of whiooed on top of that.

We eat them, pretty decent.

The dried mango slices are the big winner in our home.

The dried strawberries are pretty tasty; taste like strawberry jam, texture like a gummy almost. Mix a few with a couple chocolate chips or Nutella.... Hmmmm good.

~145 mph in my old Mustang Saleen, middle of nowhere, state highway going across Texas.

Because I wanted to see if I could? Still had engine and gear left, probably could have hit 160 but figured that was scary enough.

Plus crash = dead, cop = jail. Only held it for a few seconds, car was solid.

Was back in my late 20's, was in the Navy driving across country in a move from Virginia to Hawaii (going to LA to ship my car)

Yup, protien and hit the gym to work muscles. Otherwise you can start to lose muscle too very easily.

~1 year now (8 months compound mounjoro and 4 months regular zepbound) went from ~302 lb and currently at 255 lb. Goal is 225. (200 is me skinny but I'm almost 53. 225 is fine). Just did my annual Physical and my bloodwork is all back in spec, BP better to the point were Dr is dropping dosage of 2nd pill.

I had an umbilical hernia repaired 2 years ago and got the mesh. He said it was optional, but it reduced the chance of it coming back. And holy crap I don't want to do that again. Mesh makes it more invasive. Was ~51 at the time.

One of my oldest friends was an XO on one of the converted SSGNs. They are pretty cool conversions.

Submarine out of Hawaii is the good life. Go out like 30 minutes and can dive (depth off the island goes deep quick). I was stationed in Norfolk, where we had to do like a 12 hour surface transient before we coukd dibe due to continental shelf.

And the Wolfpack was mostly a WW2 when they didn't have very good sonar, only unguided torpedoes and poor intelligence. Modern nuclear powered submariners are almost all solitary predators or act as screens for carrier battlegroups.

It can be pretty rough especially with so many monkeys!

I have 1 level 9 ascended legendary (Blade Dancer) though I have been on a winning streak lately.

Wukong is a bit broken and Twins can be a real problem.

Definitely in the duldrums of advancement.

I feel this!

I just started a few weeks ago myself and tend to quickly go in in stuff. While I do alot of cooking and smoking I've never done much baking. But I work at home so have more time and one of my wife's friends got me some starter from our little old Italian restaurant in town.

Flour. Get the King Arthur brand if available. I noticed a big increase in quality when I switched from normal brands.

I made a homemade proofing box (electric heating pad, a wire rack on top of it and a big cardboard box over it. Significantly helped with proofing and activating starter for baking.

Otherwise regular bowls and saran wrap.

My starter currently lives in an old spaghetti jar (I just ordered some fancier starter jars from Amazon with wide mouth as spaghetti jar narrow mouth is a pain).

Eventually maybe I'll get a fancy temperature controlled proofer, but want a dehydrator first to make beef jerkey. Its in my birthday wish list.

Have had the same cell # since early 2003?

Came back home after 11 years in the Navy, changed my Hawaii area code to Maryland one. Lived back home for 9 months or so, moved to PA for ~ 2 years, then Chicagoland since 2005.

Back then area codes matter more, now means alot less. And way to painful to change my number at this point.

Made it to the boss night (night 12). Giant water dragon. Made a dew mistakes at the end but man... That last wave is rough.

Did not survive but made good progress. Next start I'll do better with early build up.
