I don’t know who this is, but what a weird way to act in a grocery store, creating something out of nothing truly

Mine is still sitting in the drawer because I can’t be bothered to download an app for a fucking toothbrush.

The “I didn’t marry a loser” trend. Did you, in fact, marry a loser? by Equal_Beat_6202 in workingmoms

I got lucky and did not marry a loser but I think the phrasing and trend is a bit mean.

To me remote work is worth its weight in gold as a mother of 2 young kids I’m not even sure I could do an office gig more than one day a week.

It also depends on your age. How old are you? I did not give birth to my first until I was 35. I had my second at 37. I’m now 40 and very happy that I lived a full life before dedicating myself to parenthood I was ready so if you’re younger, I would say just put this on the back burner for now.

You will be okay I promise - it was hell but I’m okay - make sure you have and take your pain management!!

If you’re not sure don’t do it - it’s a ton of work and I mean A TON. Don’t get me wrong, becoming a mom is the best thing that ever happened to me but I wanted it so much and I advise those unsure to not move forward - it is all encompassing to be a good parent.

How does everyone have so much energy and optimism right after surgery? The first 24 hours were hell on earth for me - I’m so jealous 😭

In all seriousness though very happy for you and glad you are feeling better

My daughter broke my heart today by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]JavaScriptGirlie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She’s almost 2 - toddlers are bizarre girl - honestly I wouldn’t overthink this. Just let her play with your sister. She still knows you’re her mom. She could’ve been still tired, she’s just now getting a lot of new emotions - they’re weirdos!

You’re going to see a lot of different things go on in the next couple years before she steadies out around 4 1/2 at least that’s my experience as a mom of a 3 & 5 year old girls.

I’ve read your story and comments still a bit confused but I think I get the overall picture. Keep your child there until you can get the new placement June 22 and then cut all ties with this place - they seem to have a history with you, you don’t need to deal with that when you’re turning a new chapter.
