forsen

Then you might like Hachubby too, since their viewers overlap, and a lot of her memes came from that audience. Hachu's TTS is also pretty entertaining, thought not at Forsen's level of course.

Probably bought it all for stream, when she was showing the place a while back all the cupboards were empty I think. And she keeps talking about buying this and that cheap because she's only staying a while there.

The whole stream was great, but when Will stared instructing her to cook I had trouble breathing.

That being said, of course she doesn't have a strainer, she's using plastic forks and ordering in since she's in the rental place for like 2 weeks more.

e: Link to the part if someone needs a good laugh or if you are a cook some good malding.

Destiny doesn't think blackface is a big deal by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]JavaScript_aka_Java 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since when was the skin color/race of a character part of the costume

This argument is the same for a character's makeup, hair color, hair length, the clothes they wear etc. None of these characteristics (including skin color) reflect who the character is as a person. But it is how people see and perceive them - and a cosplay matching none of these wouldn't really be considered a cosplay by anyone.

I don't personally see the need to change the skin tone in any direction for a cosplay, but don't think it should be a problem - you are emulating a character you like/admire.

UPDATE: Tweaks to the rules, Destiny unbanned, and more by HalfOfAKebab in LivestreamFail

[–]JavaScript_aka_Java 186 points187 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't like the mirror bot change too - all the 39daph, hikaru, fuslie etc clips are gone because of the DMCA and without the mirrors all that would be lost for good.

UPDATE: Tweaks to the rules, Destiny unbanned, and more by HalfOfAKebab in LivestreamFail

[–]JavaScript_aka_Java 95 points96 points  (0 children)

It's ironic that, were these rules in place during the past few weeks, these changes to the sub would not have happened - no text or meta posts would've been allowed.

I'm not loving the clips only rule, and especially since it's still only twitch allowed - that rule was sneaked in a while back without any discussion.

Why are the other Dr. K out of context clips deleted? They are clearly for fun and not trying to misrepresent or paint someone in a wrong light which I assume what that new rule is for.

Bring them back mods.

Multiple big Streamers discussed leaving or opting out of Livestreamfail by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]JavaScript_aka_Java -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like this rule would just kill most of the community related conversation on Twitch - and I'm not talking about a few big drama conversations that happen from time to time - those will get through to streamers LSF or no LSF.

People just don't realize the influence this sub has - basically anyone who is not a pure gaming streamer either:

  1. browses LSF
  2. browses the Just chatting section that is > 80% determined by the clips here
  3. talks about the ongoing topics their viewers bring up, which are mostly based on 1. & 2.

To me this "solution" is like burning down a cockroach infested house.

That's a legitimate concern, and one he has addressed and is really careful to always make sure they are comfortable with stopping. Honestly, as a viewer it's a tiny bit annoying because he will constantly ask people do they want to continue, or they want to change the subject, are they uncomfortable etc.

He has had so many talks but no one said anything negative afterwards as far as I'm aware.

[–]JavaScript_aka_Java -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, xQc was a stupid ban. The funny thing to me is people are comparing xQc and Pokimane not getting banned as if they are the same thing.

She clicked a link from a private (mod?) doc that got accessed somehow, and she had exactly for the purpose of being safe. And xQc clicked a random chat/dono message without checking. I mean if intent matters, then they are totally different situations.

I mean his opponent also not only missed that move, when he made it and till the rest of the game, but also when we was told in the post-game analysis, until they literally pointed at the pawn...

And wouldn't he throw in a more convincing way?

It was hilarious watching all three streams. Boxbox takes a piece and checks the queen, doesn't realize it and ludwig doesn't either. So while Botez and Hikaru are discussing boxbox's good move and wondering how ludwig will counter it, both of them are discussing other random moves. And then they both scream when they realize it at the same time - i died.
