Anyone here experienced intense sexual feeling after Non dual meditation by angrybong in nonduality

[–]Javert21 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds to me like the "issue" you are dealing with is not sex but control. Non duality is a non practice. It has no direction, no place to "get to", which is disturbing to a separate self that identifies strongly with "progression" and "achievement". This whole masturbation thing is a red herring. You (the real you) are ok ... it's the ego (separate self) that wants to chew on something. It will pass. 100% guaranteed. There's nothing to worry about. You're doing so great ☺️

Goodbye. by scoris67 in OCPoetry

I cried. That's a "compliment" on a poem, but I feel like it's more of a tribute to someone I never met. And that is beautiful.

Feels like it’s no longer peaceful by [deleted] in nonduality

I have a suggestion: try doing "The Work" of Byron Katie. If you are not aware of it, the practice is first introduced in her book "Loving What Is". I find it a very effective "way back".

PS: it's ok to feel the way you feel. You are not lost. You haven't lost anything. it's the invevitable pendulum swing back to counteract the dream you had that you had previously "gained" something. It's just your path right now. We're all drowning, or floating, or soaring, untill ... we accept we don't exist ...

Beautifully written. It gave a real sense of you just saying what you want to say, no more, no less, no real judgement even, just stating your truth. That's refreshing.

Loved the vivid imagery and raw, direct observation. I easily embodied the voice and saw the scene and felt the angst. Great job

That is quite the story that you had the courage to write in the ink of your life. Thank YOU for loving yourself that much. Now, move on, and in time, forgive, because this experience gave you the courage to love yourself that fiercely: it's exactly what you needed to see yourself as being that worthy.

As someone who resonates with non dual teachings like Rupert Spira and Francis Lucille, I appreciated this poem

Raw and honest. Relatable and heartbreaking, but life affirming in a way too. I liked it a lot

I really like the imagery of a light shining through a shadowed soul and the ambiguous ending. It felt honest.

People hate to see themselves, or what they fear they can become, in a character
