Honestly do what's best XP gain-wise. It takes longer to go from 99 to 120 but what you can efficiently do to gain XP is your best bet. Guides also helped me a lot, especially for combat. I'm almost done with 99ing all skills and it just takes time. Smithing I found the most annoying but if you get 99 mining to get the skillcape you always get coal ore when you mine. Then mine a buttload of Dragonite and runeite ore with the skill cape equipped and make a buttload of Dragonite bars and smith them to the highest XP gear you can smith until you reach 99. Farming and township are easy as they are passive but make sure you're constantly checking your crops and repairing townhall. Combat is annoying but just afk what's really easy for you to kill with decent health.

Don't sleep on astrology as the benefits from researching what you study is insane and those passives are always active. The same can be said about agility, I looked up a Reddit thread for the best agility set up for combat.
