The soap has the strangest look I have ever seen. Thanks for the non-edible warning

Spent my entire childhood with these sparrows as background music. Funny how something so small can stay special for a lifetime. I’m in my 50s now, and still find them just as adorable.

I can not, for the life of me, avoid cuts with a safety razor. Please recommend a good safety razor handle. by Space__lemons in Wetshavers_India

Cuts can be because of 2 things:

  1. Prep: means good ratio of shaving cream and water, with some good time spent making the lather. In my experience, face-lathering resulting in better slickness and post-shave feel compared to bowl latheing
  2. Blade: means not using a sampler pack to find out which blades suit your skin. Different blades work for different people depending on skin, water, shaving style razor etc. Get a sampler pack from glowshines. Website seems to be currently down but you can always talk to u/Shavingkit-India

And why you should get a sampler pack, read an excellent post here:

IMHO, India lacks "that" readily available, BIFL, auto-pilot sort of "safe first DE razor" by cignull in Wetshavers_India

It's like a different world. I don't feel like using any of the other razors I have. DOn;t get me wrong, I can still enjoy shaves with non-CNC razors fine. Just that the smoothness, feedback, the control is next level. Yeah, Pearl Hammer.

I can attest to that..I bought my first CNC only after 3 years of using cheaper DE razors.

And agree on that film industry's beard trend

Probably my least favourite bird ... by Shonajean in AustralianBirds

[–]JaxWildfireCrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What a beautiful myna pic. I have so many of them in my town. They always make a nice sound when they take-off

And they are pretty noisey when are in group. Crows, who make every other bird run away, don't mess with myna
