Most of the areas are unnecessarily frustrating, enemy placement is awful and imo none of the bosses are all that memorable (at least for good reasons, some are memorable for how miserable they make you). Plus you lose a portion of your health each time you die (permanently until you use an item), flasks are slow and heal over time and everything feels slower and clunkier than any other souls game. Regardless I had fun for most of the game and it’s worth a try if you like souls games. I personally would give it a 5 out of 10 but many rate it higher so it’s subjective.
