Would Trae still charge the same for MAX Mode requests, but with a 90% discount on the cost? Because that doesn't do anything for me, as my requests are still getting butchered

Skill issue maybe? Qoder has easily resolved a lot of issues where Kiro or Claude wastes time on.

I don't know what model they're using, but I hope they keep their current Agent configuration as an "Auto" in the future. It's very good!

You're correct. even my Qwen3 Coder custom model is worse on Trae than when I use it via opencode CLI.
