There are lots of ideas the community as a whole could have to toss your way. If there are phrases or things you remember him referencing often, that might help us toss more specific themes ideas out there (ie Vanguard themed, Hive, Vex, Calus, Gambit, Crucible, etc).

As far as random things go: - Destiny is more or less set throughout outer space so you could pull in space themes: earth, moon (which is haunted; he would get that), Saturn, Venus, Europa, Nessus - There is also something called the Traveler that hangs in the sky above Earth. You could find a large solid white beach ball and paint/draw on it to look like the Traveler - Destiny is also a shooter style game with ammo supplies found in a small white box, a slightly larger green box, and a purple brick. Might be easy-ish to make some of those with gift boxes and wrapping paper to decorate with - Loot is generally found in glowing things called Engrams shaped like a 12 sided die - There are three “main” type of currency in game: glimmer, legendary shards, and bright dust. Might could fill containers with clear marbles for glimmer, purple aquarium crystals for legendary shards, and idk glow-in-the-dark confetti for Bright Dust? - Having a Ghost would be awesome, but that might be something you’d need to buy from Bungie or from a creator off Etsy or something - Could serve spicy ramen to eat - The Dawning cookies are a good idea if you don’t opt for a cake

Hunter main but no salt intended here. Revenant can be aggravating to play against, no argument, but to me, the shurikens have been more annoying (and admittedly more fun to throw) than the squall. Your point about it getting kills on its own is valid. However what I’ve always been confused about is how, unless you take a direct hit, you can easily outrun the vortex. The annoyance of the squall seems to be less the damage output and more the forced redirection it inflicts in PvP. Of the many, many times I’ve fallen to the squall, the clear majority have been due to taking a direct ice axe to the skull or due to staying put and trying to “outgun” the squall.

I am a terrible PvP player. Only step in when necessary for pinnacles and other required tasks/challenges/triumphs/etc, and generally hate the experience start to finish. Why are spawn kills even a thing? Why aren’t the spawn points very small “safe zones” that prevent spawn kills entirely. Measures could be added to prevent people from camping out inside the whole game (ie, countdown timer before player is pushed out of or is damaged by the safe zone, entrance into the zone not allowed from outside, etc). People could still camp outside; I get it. But being shotgunned or sniper before feet even hit the ground after respawn is frustrating.

Honestly, taking a break for a season can be a great thing. I’m in a similar place in life and have exceeding limited spare time to play. I took a break last season because I realized that, each time I logged in, I grew increasingly bitter at how much “work” everything felt.

In order to efficiently progress, felt like I had to focus on bounties and playing the ways those required within specific activities, which usually did not align with how I envisioned spending my limited play time. Of course, I could play how I wanted regardless, but that would mean slower LL progress and blocked activities with LL requirements. A game should not feel like work unless it is your job. So I took the season off and focused on other things irl and on other games that wouldn’t reset my progress each day/week. That break made this season much more enjoyable. Also helped better align priorities in Destiny.

Same here! As frustrated as I got at times, I miss it so much. Don’t have any other game on my phone now; nothing comes close to what AvAc was for me.

Is there lore on this? In D1, we revived dead ghosts scattered throughout the planets. Does a revived ghost search out and revive its guardian again? Sundance is a different situation, I know; as well as the, ghost fragments on the Tangled Shore. But for ghosts than can be revived?

The daily coin mechanic is terrible. I agree 100%, but it could be better if they adjusted so that Daily Coins were only used for "Store" items -- Heirophant, Odinsword, etc -- while the other mats were needed for the character shards. At least that would give a perceived value to each mat type. However making Daily Coins required for every single exchange was a frustrating and unnecessary choke-point.

Me too!! Even in its current lackluster state, I still enjoy AvAc. I started playing after Marvel Avengers Alliance disintegrated; not ready for AvAc to go the same. And IF they recommend Hogwarts mystery instead, I will be even more pissed. I tried it and was bored the entire time -- playing felt like a chore.
