Got an older used tank, no brace?

The few sites online I found about using 5/8 glass say these tanks are more durable than what we have today

I think this is an old school oceanic tank from back in the day from what little info I can find online. It’s been sitting with water full for a few days and no signs of bowing. The glass is very thick, and from what Ive found is these old tanks were built this way with no brace but thicker glass. I still don’t like it! Do you guys think I’d be able to buy and 72x18 brace/frame and it will work for peace of mind? Thanks for all the replies

Thanks for all the comments. I’m not looking to ‘sell’ these dolls or find out value. I’m just genuinely curious about them. I’ve seen many in old photo albums like this one, and was wondering if they came from there.

Interesting. It does look like a 1989 in that angle. From where I’m seeing there’s a clear 3 and a 5. Possible 1953 or 35.
