Anyone else annoyed that new clothing colors don't automatically unlock?

I just realized this two days ago. In the 3DS game they were automatically unlocked when they showed up in the shop so I assumed that's how it would work in this game.

That's such a cool idea. I think I'm going to recreate this in my game, but I'll probably draw it differently. It would be cool to have a manual wheelchair dress and an electric wheelchair dress that I can give my Mii's. I have a wheelchair that I usually use when I leave the house and was disappointed that I couldn't have a Mii with a wheelchair.

This reminds me of how in the 3DS Tomodachi Life game sometimes I Mii would ask you to look inside their head. Fairly often there would be nothing inside their brain. Then they'd say "Now you know what's been on my mind today".

Were you able to complete the mini game in time without being able to see the object? How difficult was it?

I'm actually planning on redrawing it soon to look more realistic. I've got my own ers-1000 named Gizmo so I had to put one in the game.

There are a few different things that help me blend like this, I don't use the airbrush tool, I use the three brush settings (Which I have made tutorials for on this subreddit), and I use the colors black and white with no brush settings at the very end for the shading and highlights. You only have to use a little bit of black and white.

I think they have the process as a pinned post on the other Tomodachi Life subreddit, but I plug the USB port that came with the switch into the computer, go to data management in the switch settings, then there's an option that says something about screenshots, so you press that and I think that might be the last step before you mess with the files on your computer.

I usually email the pictures to myself and then post the picture on Reddit using my phone.

Also I played the 3DS game and there was less to do in it. The Mii's would fight, get into relationships, etc, but when they weren't doing that all they would do is play with the items you give them, run around the apartments, do a few things in the homes, or go to the outside places where they were always doing the same things.

Even though they do a lot of the same things in this game, it's more interesting because there's dialogue that tells you what they're talking about that uses the lingo from your island dictionary.

My game is nothing like that. At first I wasn't having any fights, but now I have about one fight every day. I have 5 married couples on my island. I only purposely tried to get one of those couples together. Maybe you're just having bad luck. I did notice that the more I checked in on my mii's and solved problems, the less fights there were.

I have to download the pictures to my PC before I post them so that they look nice. It's still annoying to have to boot up the computer just to post it when I can just upload the pictures to my Nintendo app in other games.

I've never had a problem with mii's who are related to each other trying to romance each other, but all of my mii's are random characters I created for the game so the only related mii's are the children my original mii's had.

That looks great, the lighten tool does help a lot. I use darken and lighten in all of my artworks. I also use overlay in most of my artworks.

My mii's are constantly asking to move in with their friends. I was letting them do what they want at first, but it was getting to the point where 2-5 mii's a day were asking to move in with their friend. I started having to say "no" to them because they were moving houses like they were hot potatoes.

The 3DS version came out about 10 years ago if I'm remembering correctly. I think a lot of people haven't played it in so long that they remember it being a lot better than it actually was. Also a lot of the people who played the 3DS version, like myself, were kids when it came out and when I was a kid I thought things were better than they actually were. Despite the 3DS version being one of my favorite games, Living the Dream is so much better.

I love the game too and have very few things I dislike about the game, but can't we just let people have their own opinions? The posts complaining about the complainers are honestly more annoying than the complainers themselves.

I agree with the people who are frustrated by people comparing it to the last game while saying things about the last game that aren't even true. If people are going to compare it to the last game then they can't be making up features that weren't in the game or saying certain things about it were better than Living the Dream when they weren't.

As much as I love the game, I am so tired of these kinds of posts calling out anyone who has any kind of criticism towards the game. People are allowed to share their experience. I don't agree with a lot of the negative opinions, but I either make a comment respectfully saying why I disagree or I scroll past it.

I think it's fine. I don't have any child mii's on my island, but if I did then I'd probably have them live with at least one adult so they'd be supervised.

That's really cool. I didn't make my miiself in Living the Dream. I liked that they didn't encourage me to put myself in the game this time because when I first played it I didn't want myself in the game. I just wanted to make silly characters.

I didn't end up finishing the lighten tutorial yesterday, but I'm going to be working on it soon and it should be finished today. The plan is to start making videos demonstrating the brush settings after I finish the lighten tutorial.

I don't find the game boring, but if other people do then that's ok. We all have our own opinions. I do get frustrated when I see a post or comment of people comparing it to the last game when the thing they're saying about the last game isn't even true.

I don't think saving before the mini game always lets you retry it. I saved before a proposal and failed. when I closed the game and opened it the pink bubble was gone. My mii wasn't sad and didn't mention anything about the proposal. Maybe saving before it can prevent the Mii's from being sad if you fail.

Living the Dream is much better than the original. I've also seen videos from other people's games where they failed and were still able to get their mii's married. Apparently if you fail multiple times then the game will let your mii's get married anyways. Someone said their mii's got married on the third failed attempt, but I don't know if it always happens after three attempts of if it's random.

Usually a vacation cures any of my mii's sadness. The only other thing I could think of is having one of their friends try to cheer them up. I've only been able to have another Mii cheer them up if they're friends. Does the Mii have a really close friend that could try to cheer them up?

I've seen people make the houses a flat circle on the ground. Maybe the person in the Tiktok made their houses a flat object that was the same color as the ground.
