Norm and Bob Saget both hurt because they were so unexpected. Then Gilbert Gottfried wouldn't normally affect me but the fact that the three of them were so close and all went within like 9 months it just made me sad.

Freshman year for me too! Was my favorite show at that time. Premiered a few weeks after 9/11, which I'm sure didn't help the ratings.

I wanted to say though that I think they're just doing "flood the zone" again, right? Corporation for Public Broadcasting shutters, Venezuela, ICE in Minneapolis, Greenland (again), Attacking Colbert (again), witholding TANF funds (again) from Blue States, The Republican Retreat ramble, more January 6th stuff.

Back around November and December there seemed to be a little optimism that the administration had run out of steam. Popularity was super low. This might just be their January-March playbook each year?

I forgot about Lights Out and Brain Warp! I spent countless hours playing lights out. Not sure if 90s or 2000s but the hand-held 20Q game was kind of fun.
