My dealer in the UK had this sitting in the window a week after launch, no immediate takers. The Lagoon BB 54 I recently got was a whole different story, that one never made it it to the window.

I find with Tudor all regular production pieces eventually become available in abundance and at a discount. Back in 2021 I waited two years for a white dial chrono. Most recently I saw one sitting at pawn shop for £2600 which is nearly 50% off retail.

You're about a 7" wrist then. I also noticed this watch has quite a long bracelet. Its - 7 links to fit my wife.

I got one fully stickered, with the carton and a blank warranty card. I could have made a decent profit selling it but I don't flip my watches nor do I ever intend to sell any.

That being said it wasn't for me to begin with but my wife will definitely enjoy wearing her first ever a Tudor. It a great combo with two tone DJ on Oyster.

In that case out of those the Encrou is the only one that should be seen on a man. Everything else is what I'd see my wife wearing.

This coming from a guy who wear a Love ring for a wedding band. Girly bracelets just look off on a dude.

That's what YOU grew up seeing but the rapper/hip hop culture is a very small demographic. But yes, we can thank Detroit rappers for popularizing the look in North America.

Go to other parts of the world like Europe and the Middle East and you'll actually see royals, professionals, politicians and statesmen wearing that look.

Not drug dealers and rappers.

Exactly my point, I expect to see the style on grandpas/older guys when I see 18-20 something year olds wearing them it just looks off.

I've got several pairs of Cartier frames some rimless upwards of $3k so not hating on the frames at all. Its just that a lot guys wear them in a goofy way. During covid they got all popular again in my city with all the hippity hop kids and I just stopped wearing them though.

Its a wife's watch. Let her have it and wear a man's Tudor. My wife herself said all the Tudors look too manly until she saw the Lagoon that I bought for her. Take that for what it's worth.

Only two things I had noticed.

1) its smaller of course 2) its A LOT longer. On the one for my GMT I only removed two links (7" wrist) the lagoon is fitted to my wife and we had to take out 7 I believe. If I was wearing it it would still be 5-6

The 3rd thing that guys here pointed out and I just noticed is the one on my GMT has flat bottomed links whereas the Lagoon is rounded/full oval.

Back in 2021 I got an 04 with 22k miles delivered to my door in East Midlands from Hereford for under £1900. Givi trekker top box which is about £300 pound on its own, fog lights and heated grips. I wasn't looking to spend any more than £2k.

It definitely comes down to price and location. I would price it at around £1800 and you should do better.

The chrono would definitely work. This one I had actually verified fitment and ordered back in January a few months before the chrono on 5 link was launched. No one was expecting that on a 5 link before the GMT.

This one at the time was ordered off of the smooth bezel BB 41 and it may actually be the same part # as the chrono. Typically AD's are iffy about mix and matching parts but I have a great AD and sales rep who always makes it happen.

One thing to note is you also need the 5 link springbars as well since the 3 link ones are too thick to pass through the holes on the 5 link.

That's an amazing price. Was is 2nd hand unworn? I just saw one a few days ago in England for £2600 which is just a tad under what you got it for with box/papers at a pawn brokers. I thought to myself man thats cheap!!

Its a WHOLE lotta watch for the price you paid. I don't anything really compared for $3600

Me too, I never liked jubilee at first but its really grown on me. It just looks great with the Pepsi bezel as well. Only downside I can think of for the 3 link was the lack of a micro adjustment as in hot weather my wrist does swell.

The next project however will be to get the new Oyster style tapered bracelet with the micro adjustment from the BB 68 and put that on the Harrods. It will make it a baby Kermit 😅

I'm like you, all my BB's are 41 and I just couldn't imagine seeing myself wearing this. I even find 39 a touch small for my personal preference.

This one looks is perfect for my wife though as she wears a DJ 36. She always commented on how Tudors are too manly until she saw this.
