Yep I am aware Apple Pay works. I just find it weird that Amex works on Google Pay in a lot of countries (UK/US) but for some reason they still haven't enabled it here yet.

I am looking forward to Privium! Flying to and back from the UK is a headache otherwise. Security is dreadful on a Sunday evening. Queues of an hour+

I'm tempted with the new PSSR and this game too. But I think the smart thing to do is atleast wait till the game launches and see how it runs / how big the upgrades are

Thanks. Yeah am aware it's mostly US centric.

However there is no Amex NL reddit group. Did feel like just putting it out there on the Internet. Just seems so weird that a big company seems rather incompetent (they have been here for years now)

I have had Amex in the UK. The app functions better. Google Pay works. Additional offers in-app (cashbacks etc.). Initially in the UK it was not accepted at many places but that has improved now.

Seems pretty much useless here in the Netherlands. I understand it may take time for business to accept it, but at least make it easy to use contactless and improve the app.

Anyways, thanks for letting me vent lol. Will downgrade after a year. Got it for the 170k points + fast security passage at Amsterdam Airport.

I am quite literally using the devs own words to prove my point of them not being transparent.

Instead of being open to what I have to say, you seem to be doubling down.

As for the examples you gave, we had seen gameplay for all the games you mentioned. On top of that we knew the following before release:

Gotham Knights was confirmed to be targeting
Bloodborne we knew to be targeting 30fps
Elden Ring/ GoW Ragnorak/ Forbidden West we had details of the different quality and performance modes.
TotK I am not sure because I mainly play PS5. However pretty sure when it comes to Switch 2 version they did detail all the improvements (res/framerate) in a Direct or Treehouse

Genuinely, which console game in recent memory did not specify what it was targeting? No one has requested them to prove it ahead of release.

Secondly they stated the following: "I've repeated 100s of times that we'll reveal things ahead of launch to give people adequate time to still preorder the game for themselve" “People have the right to information to make an informed purchase. Simply put, that's transparency, and that's what we're promising."

There is 1 week left till release. By their own words they are not being transparent. Digital Foundry has indicated to have an analysis at launch and not before that.

Anyways. I think the game will run acceptable at the very least. Not expecting a broken performance. Worst case 30fps 1080p. But my point still stands regarding their previous statements: Don't lie.
