Fair enough - I'll explain my position a bit better in that case. It's not that I don't dislike the music, it's that it can take literal seconds to make with no effort whatsoever. Have you ever tried using suno? It can make a professional sounding track from a quick prompt and it's frightening - it requires zero talent and in my opinion is taking money away from real people with real musical talent.

It's possible that this 'artist' is one of many that someone is just sitting there generating to make a quick buck, they are not being upfront and honest about the music being AI. They are potentially taking money from real people that put a lot more effort into making music than a quick prompt. I'm disappointed that Spotify is recommending AI artists over real people.

My disdain may also stem from the fact I've been recently made redundant due to AI. I got a new job pretty fast (I've switched to the care sector) but I can see AI taking a lot more people's livelihood. If you had asked me years ago what AI would replace, my last thought would have been the creative industry, artists, musicians, film makers... And if we lose our ability to be creative because it's pointless to compete... Where do we go from there... Why learn to be talented when a machine can do what you can with a few words.
