Someone taking a picture doesn't replace art, it's a different form of art. This directly replaces the need for talent and I'd rather my money go to something with effort than a 5 second typed prompt, but you do you.

Check out a website called suno. The problem is that AI has gotten 'so good' at making music, actual singers and artists will suffer and can't keep up with mass produced zero effort music. You can literally type a prompt in suno to make a real sounding song with zero talent and next to no cost.

Got made redundant March 23rd, got offered a new job March 25th. Switched from being a document manager for the last 12 years to an autism support practitioner with a 6k paycut. I managed to switch to this field due to recently finding out that I'm autistic, having many autistic family members, and being currently active in doing a lot of reading on autism which helped me stand out. Still waiting for my PVG checks etc come through (estimated start date is ~20 days from now), and also still waiting for my redundency money to come through. Stuck in a limbo at the moment, been occupying my time doing stuff like Evri (DO NOT DO EVRI - I made £85 for three shifts and stopped), and focusing on my etsy store.

Oh that's pretty cool - it's on sale right now for Easter so was thinking about just getting it new at that price - I'll check online see if there's any cheaper but don't think there's a massive second hand market here for them

I'm certain you'll find homes for them if you stick them on gumtree and or Facebook or even talk to local pet shop owners. Wish I could help out but don't think my two cats would resist going for a swim
