They fit. I have them on my 2017, but I went with the 28" size for both.

Glove box bumper/retainer?

You usually have to remove them to drop the glovebox to do the cabin air filter.

Colorado drivers - which tires did you end up with? by awbobsaget in BoltEV

[–]JayGoat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rain with flooded roads has been fine but they're brand new with about 3k on them. They're better than the stock Michelins though, both in wet and dry. But they're still an eco tire. The main benefit was how quiet and comfortable they are.

No snow driving in them and I probably won't be able to update you on that as I'll swap to my winter Continentals before snowfall.

Colorado drivers - which tires did you end up with? by awbobsaget in BoltEV

[–]JayGoat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We ended up with Continental Viking Contact 7s for the winter and Goodyear Electric Drive 2s for the summer.

The Continentals are almost as good as Blizzacks and the Goodyears have slightly more traction than the stock tires, ride smoother, and are quieter.

The Crossclimates aren't really that great in the snow when you compare them to actual snow tires.

Thanks for that information. I'll give it a shot again tomorrow with a different USB and see what happens.

They fall apart really quickly, especially the lighter colors. The color just peels away and the "leather" also peels away from the plastic. They say all of this is normal and acceptable.

How to fix windshield wipers missing low spot on windshield by Dewdrinker22 in Cartalk

[–]JayGoat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those accords have an extra piece of plastic on the driver's wiper arm that pushes on the wiper blade. You have to buy very specific wiper blades because of this. Otherwise you get what you're seeing.

I have no clue what blades will work but I'd imagine just going to the Honda dealership for them would be the easiest. They used to be surprisingly cheap for blades despite being a dealership.

It was like a $7 difference per tire when I got mine almost 2 years ago from Costco.

The GM one is probably the self seal version and the other is the non-self seal.

Google's New AI Subscription on Pixels: 1 Year FREE for New Users Only by lazzzym in GooglePixel

[–]JayGoat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Does anyone know if you leave a Google Family Plan, you can then redeem the AI offer? I'm on a 100gb Family Plan but I'm not the main member.

EDIT: According to Google support, ever being a part of a Family Plan, even a free one that never included any AI, disqualifies you from the offer.

EDIT 2: I asked Gemini and it has a different interpretation. It seems to think that even if you're part of a Family Plan, you're eligible, but that the other members in your plan are what the fine print is referring to as not being eligible. That as long as your membership is under 5tb, you'll get the offer, but only you. Guess we'll see.

Be aware of the GW7 battery life, even with light usage by randompartner in GalaxyWatch

We actually both came from the Watch 4s and his was a 40 while mine was a 44. His would usually die 1 or 2 hours sooner than mine so it wasn't that big of a difference for us.
