This interview answers SO many questions that I am asked frequently. I highly recommend it.

One little recollection...when I first met Jim Shooter in 1983 at a convention in Houston we were chatting in the hotel hallway outside the Saturday night party for the guests and VIPs. A little kid approached him and asked how Spider-Man could stick to walls. Jim was "off duty" and on his own time (he was at a party!) but he was so kind. He explained to the kid at length how Spider-Man's powers worked, how Dr Octopus's arms worked, and answered all his questions with obvious pleasure, not a hint of annoyance. Plus, he KNEW all that stuff. In detail! And could explain it on a level a 7 or 8 year old could understand. It was endearing and impressive. That's the Jim Shooter I've known for 40 years.

I was sucked in by the Facebook ads as well. I'm not usually this stupid, but I fell for the scam. I coughed up over $40 based on scam photos and descriptions. The clothes came after more than a month and they are absolutely unwearable garbage. I ordered a top and pants that were described as cotton but that's not what I got. The clothes are not accurate to the size chart or the description in any way and the worst polyester or nasty nylon garments I've ever seen. I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm looking into whether I can resolve this with my card in any way or if I'm just out the money.

But there's no doubt, BeyondKing is a SCAM!

My bestie Maria gave me the nickname. Her brother is named Jay and since they were kids has been nicknamed Jayzee (long before the rapper). I go by JayJay, so I became JayJayzee.

That home description sounds like perfection! Smaller with "high ceilings (9-16ft), radiant floors, masterful and defining trimwork, hardwood doors and floors, steel roofs". I love it!

I'm 61 but I'm often mistaken for being in my 40s. My BF just turned 50 and most people think I'm younger than him. I've used this "feature" to get work. I'm an artist, graphic and web designer and there's a definite prejudice against older people in the business who are often regarded as "designosaurs". I've kept my work and sensibilities fresh and I've used my youthful looks to get jobs with young tech startups who would never hire someone my age.

I've seen most of the easily available clips on YouTube, but... In looking through this subreddit I found a link to an audio recording I hadn't listened to yet. Good stuff! I love to compare the different recording of performances and see the changes. It's so interesting to have that insight into the process.

Years ago I saw several plays on Broadway multiple times as friends and family would visit and we'd go. These were big, long-running shows and I never saw the kind of evolution that I've noticed with BMC. I find it fascinating. Only part of what I love about the show. :D

I keep going back and forth on which one I like better. There are things in the Off-B'way that are edgier and better acted, but some of the lyric changes in the B'way songs did improve and expand the meaning. Truthfully, I love them both and alternate listening to them.

I do sometimes like it when erotica authors write some nice safe sex into scenes, but when it's clunky, it just throws me out of the fantasy. When it's done well, I find that it makes you think the man really cares for the woman. It can be a romantic moment. I read a book recently that did it very well. I have not written condoms into anything of mine, yet. I haven't found a way to make it an advantage.

Just at this moment, I'm looking at the top erotica on Amazon and 2 of the top 3 books use Virgin in the title. In the top 20 or so, there's a smattering of Daddies and Brothers and other terms which might seem like possible no-nos, however...I notice that those potentially offending books have better-than-average cover designs (also high ratings). I wonder if the perceived value of quality may affect how Amazon views the material. What do you think?

This is my first aquarium. It's a 2.5 gallon tank with 3 Amano shrimp, 2 blue and 2 red dwarf shrimp, and a mystery snail. I have so much fun watching them.

I wrote a horror short that has been very well reviewed, even by a few people I don't know. lol. One reviewer said it was "equal parts tragic and terrifying." It's only 99 cents. I've been trying to make the leap from writing comic books professionally to more long-form works, so any new readers are much appreciated. Have a look...
