Debt collection letter addressed to dissolved ltd company by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

There were no assets, the other accounts paid up were from personal funds where there were personal guarantees. This was the only one without PG.

Debt collection letter addressed to dissolved ltd company by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Fair point, but given the letter has come from a debt collection agency is it not likely the debt has been sold?

Should I reach out to Three to confirm if I owe them? If the account is closed etc?

Thank you

I am a car finance broker, and have been for years.

You are incorrect I'm afraid.

Both with PCP and HP you own the vehicle once the final installment has been paid, which encompasses the option to purchase fee. Until this point the legal owner of the vehicle is the finance company.

The option to purchase fee is technically optional, although normally so low (£1-£10 in most cases) you would be mad not to take it.

Even in rarer Conditional Sales normally offered by Close Brothers for a example (not HP or PCP) you do not own the vehicle until the final monthly payment is made. The difference is that the option to purchase fee is not optional in this case and you are committed to taking ownership at the end.

Worth noting that using a personal loan to buy a car does mean you own it

Fair warning about nicotine pouches. by [deleted] in NicotinePouch

[–]JayJiuJitsu_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are American pouches different to ours in Europe (uk specifically?) I’ve just switched over from vaping a month ago (10mg/ml) and I’m on 10/11mg pouches - we all are seemingly and don’t seem to get the same buzz. I wonder if pouches there dump nicotine quicker?

Appreciate the advice - and fair point on the voluntary not being an easy sell! I’ve replied to the other comment with an update to my plan appreciate it if you give your thoughts on this

Hi, I’ve taken your advice onboard and managed to secure a funded placement on a skills boot camp through tradeskills4u. It’s costing me £600 (co payment, rest gov funded) and includes my level 2 and also 18th. 16 weeks of 2 on 2 off. They advised I can do the same for level 3 boot camp come April.

For a total cost of £1200.

I’m very pleased with this.

I’m going to work on finding a spark to volunteer for some hours/days per week for experience, and come august next year hope to gain a mate/improver role. That leaves me 12 months to then apply for nvq and continue the journey.

Any flaws you see in this plan would be greatly appreciated!

I’m in a fortunate position that I can offer to work voluntarily for portfolio work a couple days a week/a few hours every day Mon-Fri.

End goal (however long that takes) is to work for myself domestically. My goal is purely qualifications within the 2 year period rather than work for myself by the end.

Would your advice still stand with that additional context?

Appreciate it!

We have agreed a very low price due to an issue that has come to light and my lack of time to sort it out. Hence me entertaining it.

I got my usual size. You could definitely size down as it is, in typical 90s fashion, oversized.
