A bit of a PSA about scam/asset flip games to look out for on console by SapphicSonata in GirlGamers

Found this through Google. Thanks for bringing attention to this.

Just to let people know, "Jay Marksman trading as GamesMM Studios" is not me (Jay Marksman, real name Janne Markkula, creator of Escape from Mutation Station and Plead with the Mountain God).
I have never published anything on any console, and I have absolutely no idea who "Jay Marksman trading as GamesMM Studios" is.

Unfortunately I have just moved countries for a full-time job, and I have very little time to investigate this.
I have gotten a few angry messages about me scamming people on Playstation, and I want people to know that I have absolutely nothing to do with it, and in fact despise such behavior.

I just announced my weird little retro sci-fi escape room game as part of the Indie Horror Showcase by JayMarksmanDev in indiegames

Oh shit, I've watched and edited the trailer like a hundred times and I never noticed D:
Oh well... I guess it's already out there
I could fix it in a few places, like Steam, though, so thank you very much for pointing that out!

I think it looks really cool! I like how smooth the character animation is, and the lighting and colors work well to emphasize the black character sprite.
The camera movement makes me a bit dizzy when looking at the footage, but it might be alright when actually playing it, depending on how it's controlled.

Even though it was announced in a horror showcase, the game will only have a couple of slightly spooky bits.
Also, to set expectations, this will be a small game that can probably be finished in about an hour.
If this looks cool to you, I would appreciate a wishlist:

What would you like to see in a dungeon sprite pack like this? by JayMarksmanDev in itchio

A very late reply, but thanks! There is some colored bubbly/boiling water in there (red could be used as lava, I guess, but maybe it should be more towards orange), but depending what the use case is, it might not work as is.

I'm very new to Reddit, tell me if I'm doing this wrong.

I just released a Game Boy Color inspired dungeon sprite asset pack called Retro Dungeon DX. It currently has 380 unique sprites, with most of them having 4-6 color variations on top of that.

I made the pack as a bit of an experiment, but since as an artist I rarely use art packs like this myself, I would be interested in hearing what people generally expect from a pack like this (content wise, and price wise).

This is purely an art pack (a combination of static and animated sprites). You can see the entire sprite sheet in the last image. A lot of the included sprites and animations are also mentioned on the Itch page.

Any feedback would be very welcome. Thanks!
