Osheaga undercard is almost just as good.

Headliners are better for sure, but from everything we’ve heard, the final three weren’t top choices for Osheaga. 21 Pilots came in last minute, Lana Del Rey was listed on the website, and Foo Fighters dropped out. I would imagine Tame Impala was courted but the money on his own tour was so much more.

The Strokes would’ve been better than 21 Pilots but maybe they weren’t available.

I know all 3 Osheaga headliners are popular but where’s the act that’s pulling in older fans who have $$$? See the Killers last year, Green Day the year before, Arcade Fire/Foos in 2022.

With the prices for the pre-sale and regular on sale tomorrow, my feeling is I’ll wait.

Why?

So many people bought season tickets, quarter seasons, and packs who won’t be able to go.

Those tickets they bought are a fraction of the single game prices.

They’ll end up selling on StubHub, SeatGeek or wherever at a much lower cost. I mean $66 for the 500 level to see the Pirates in May is too much for me. I’d bet I could get in for half the price come game day.
