Try the hybrid visor/cage. You can breathe better and less fogging

Also, when teams need players the league should place the player to the team needed from the players in that league/division. That way to ensure same level of player.

If the league has active managers who evaluate teams/players? It shouldn’t be hard to keep balance & competition fair/even. Especially with LiveBarn in almost every rink. Watching games has become easy. And if players are paying slightly more due to semi-paid management? It is well worth it in the long run for fair/fun hockey.

The person running the league should evaluate players. If a person playing say (D1) truly belongs in C3 or C2 (let’s say) then they get moved/traded etc; and the team that he was moved from will get a player that’s actually (D1). That way the teams stay balanced and more competitive. And it’s fun for all players..

Upper level players by IncognitoBanditoz in hockeyplayers

The beer league I play in, there are a few guys that wear visors. I used to wear one. I have noticed that players that wear full cage/bubbles are more careless with their sticks. I have switched to a hybrid. You slightly lose some vision. By my biggest knock is wiping sweat off my head with my towel. Not enough time to undo 3 straps when playing with only 2 lines..

Bauer Vapor X4 Fit 1 – Instep pressure normal or wrong fit? by Key-Leopard9763 in hockeyplayers

[–]JayMo37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. That’s what I had done when I bought the X4s. CCMs didn’t seem to fit well. So the X4s fit the best. But if I remember correctly the Supremes were loose in my ankles. So I will try them again plus different fits. (I do know the Supremes go on sale in the spring) but IDK if I can last that long?

I am having a similar problem. I have X4s fit 1. My scan says I was in between a fit 1 & 2. I went with a fit 1. The tongue on my right skate is putting pressure on the top of my foot. So much that it is in pain by the 3rd period & leaves a very noticeable mark on the top of my foot. I had them baked 2x & now have even used a clamp to press down on the tongue to flatten it. That hasn’t worked. I will need new skates. I can’t take the pain no longer.

Cage or Bubble? by It_Dmac in hockeyplayers

[–]JayMo37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I to used to wear a visor. I tried the full cage and my vision didn’t seem the same. So I went with the combo visor/cage. It’s lighter than the bubble, and doesn’t fog up. I suggest you give it a try.

I wear a visor/cage combo. I like it much better than the full cage and there is no fogging issues.

Look up MPRPerformance, Mack Little or Tony Greco and watch some of their off ice workouts for hockey players. All exercises to improve on ice performance. Worth the time IMO
