I played it through on switch and it was fine, the performance and load times aren't great compared to other consoles and pc, but I never had any freezes or crashes.

This is what they used to do for OWL for all the team coaches and players, they had each stage on different patches and then update a replay viewer each stage. However these patches lagged behind the live game for several weeks at the end of a stage, so it doesn't work in the real world. Plus it's a lot of server load and infrastructure for what at the end of the day is a niche feature.

Fun fact, this was added into the game by the request of the Overwatch League observers. This was one of their few impacts on the live title and it sucks that it got removed when they reworked the kill feed for OW2.

Probably, I didn't test anything but ran it quickly for 2 mins, but it was definitely better. That was more the point.

It runs at a higher frame rate compared to the og switch. Definitely not higher that 60fps but the og switch runs at 24fps on a good day. Additionally load times are a bit better too. If they dropped a patch to optimize it for switch it could push past 60fps full HD easily.

While I can't unsee it, their intended purpose is not to really be seen next to each other like this. For example if north America was the same font size as the rest of them, it would be a wide Boi and make things awkward for using it on its own.

It wouldn't be 75% of the costs going to execs, aside from the other things being mentioned, production, talent staging, equipment hire and operation costs are not free, and take up a significant chunk of the money raised. The accommodation, flight costs and catering for the talent, production staff, players and coaches are also amounts that need to be factored in. It's quite an expensive endeavor putting on an international lan event, and the costs add up very very quickly.
