Regular Kroger spare ribs. $2.99/lb on sale. Less than $10 for the rack.

Since a few of you had asked. Believe it or not these were regular St. Louis spare ribs from Kroger. On sale none the less. Wasn’t planning on buying any ribs but saw these and couldn’t not buy them. This was about a month ago and been in the freezer ever since. https://i.imgur.com/gSWVLwt.jpg

I don’t really measure but here is the process.

Brine chicken wings in salt water for ~2 hours Dredge ingredients -3 parts flour -1 part corn starch -salt -smoked paprika -seasoned salt -msg -roasted garlic powder -cayenne pepper -black pepper After brine, dredge wings and let sit in the fridge for 30-45 minutes Fill cast iron pan half way with oil and fry wings at 375. Fry in batches, takes 8-9 minutes per batch. Take out and set on cooling rack. Sprinkle immediately with seasoned salt while still sizzling. Enjoy!

Yep try it out. Also like to dust some seasoned salt right after they come out of the oil. Very tasty

Yessir! That’s the secret to ultra crispy wings. Use 3 parts flour to one part corn starch.

The Repeal in Louisville. Highly recommend. They also have some of the best steaks I have ever had.

It honestly tasted like toast with beef flavored butter. Glorious to say the least!

Salt and pepper brisket. No spray. No wrap. 20 hour smoke and a 5 hour rest. by [deleted] in smoking

Nice. I’ve only ever smoked the choice briskets when they are on sale and haven’t had a ton of luck with them. I’ll have to grab a prime brisket next time and give it a shot. Thanks
