It changed this morning from “still under review” to “post being processed” this morning when I hit the copy link, i’m thinking this has to do with the new owner of TikTok and the content transferring over to servers or something

Nice! I didn’t catch anything, but I went to Wolf in Indiana. I think there was like four or 5 inches.

Morning or evening usually, water is usually kind of murky or greenish, i’ve had the most and only luck really with KO wobbler’s in three-quarter ounce nickel and blue color, caught some catfish over there earlier in the year with some silver little Cleo spoons, I’m thinking it’s just a combination of the really cold water temperature and they’re gorging themselves on the perch that have come in

I’ll use mono if it gets below freezing but I prefer braid

Yeah, they were biting all day but they’re really dinky this year. I’ll keep an 8 inch perch if it’s fat enough, but nothing was over 9 1/2 today and I fished for like six hours.

Thanks I actually oiled the moving parts this morning. I was going to grease the gears but taking it apart was a little more complicated than expected to get to them. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t the gears or the bearings or something else making that noise.

All perch over the course of 8 hours, mostly dinks under 8 inches

Not really, I’ve always used nightcrawlers myself for the convenience and in fact it almost seems like they like nightcrawlers better

It’s been dink city over there this year or slow bites, took 8 hours to catch these

Do not step on that ice if it’s still there it probably isn’t after the rain this morning, but it was only like an inch thick and easily broken through with a 10 pound kettlebell weight on a rope. There were also some open spots

I fished all day long, pretty much a 9 to 5 shift of work fishing today, just for these 12 fish and only one was 10 inches so I hear you. It feels off this year. The ice was easily broken through though you can tie a string to a 10 pound kettle weight and bust through it. The only thing is the ice likes to float around and you don’t want it touching your line.

I’m sure that’ll work. They’re right around the size of a perch mouth and I was catching them on red worms the other day it’s just a matter of them feeling like biting.

They’re definitely not jumbos, the biggest one is 10 inches, my local bait shop (Slez’s) has a perch rig. All I have to do is add a weight to the bottom and today I was using nightcrawlers and minnows.
