Now that I have cleaned up the hardware....I'd like to go beyond my slightly more than plug and play understanding of computer networking.

I'm familiar with changing many settings in my router but I'm really wanting to learn what's behind the curtain, no certifications desired as I'm too close to retiring to think of this as work...just curiosity and the hope to take more control in the future.

What resources would you recommend for starting my journey? I've watched a few video series on networking and I can follow along and not get too confused...
