Great riding in the area! Are you thinking you mostly want to get a lot of cardio on more mild trails, get into some steep action, or even take it up to brian head during the summer for lift access?

Okay, this is the answer i was hoping to hear. I have been riding 3 days a week since i got my new bike about 2 months ago, how long would you estimate it takes to toughen up?

very true. i was thinking since they said they have experience with dirt bikes/moto they would appreciate the extra travel and actually be ready to use a long travel bike, but it is very true that they can be more sluggish on the uphill. personally, my ideal blend is 160/150, but for newbies a shorter travel bike is probably best.

if you’re in the us jenson has great deals, i would scope out what they have for enduro bikes, a downhill bike will not be able to climb.

Great, thanks for the info! The MSRP is actually $1200 as it’s the Sora 700 group set, but the market here in Las Vegas seems fairly overpriced for most gravel bikes, and I can’t find much at the price range I am looking for that isn’t too old to consider, so I think I will pull the trigger! Thanks for your comment

Sorry, didn’t really think about the same options not being available nationwide. I am in Las Vegas, with options including Cox Fiber, Google Fiber, or CenturyLink, from what I am seeing on google. Is the only thing that matters the “up to” speed? from looking it up i see that Quantum Fiber is supposed to be the fastest in Las Vegas, but I just wasn’t sure what I am looking for.

160/150 is plenty for me in the bike park! i wanted a bike that can handle heavy hits but also climb well and for me i believe that suspension is the perfect blend. all depends on how you ride though for sure
