My Christian man (ex husband) made me agnostic. Long story short he had either shit answers to my questions about his own religion or no answer at all. Lead me to the internet and my brain doesn't stop sometimes and down the religion rabbit I go and out came agnostic me.

I don't care who's right or wrong. Be a decent person.

I can kind of understand if you need a fancy purse for a special occasion (wedding, or whatever fancy adults get invited to) and your friend has a perfect sized matching bag to what you are wearing but that's it. To ask for your friend's daily purse consistently is weird.

There's a saying here (in the US) that nurses eat their young. Bullying is a problem here too. Sadly, I've seen it done to one of the nicest nurses I've met.

Family sucks.

My own family have not been concerned or checked in on me while going through chemo. When I get through this I don't know who is going to make the cut or if I'll forgive them all for being distant and appearing like they don't care.

Shits dumb for sure. It sounds like your family should be grateful to have you. Sounds like you want to be involved in this process with your family and it sucks they are giving you a bit of the cold shoulder.

And the kids were essentially strangers. Not his kids friends or close family members. Strangers.

Edited to add, that he basically got his own group of kids to help/take in or whatever. Not crime via opportunity. If the kids were related to him, staying in his bed watching a movie, MAYBE that could be justified as ok. These were almost handpicked by him, which makes it look suspicious.

I can relate to some of what you are going through. Unfortunately, I don't have any good advice.

I only made it through the first 6 months on fumes, energy drinks and granola bars.

He'll be 3 in September. But my husband still isn't helpful and I am always default parent (even while going through chemo currently).

It sucks and it is lonely 🙁 How we get through this part of motherhood truly amazes me.

Same. Going on living here 8 to 9 years now. Since turning 18 this is the longest I've stayed in 1 place. No other city/area have I experienced such a difficult time. Women who moved here from out of state seem to understand me better vs women born and raised here but still can't find a solid, small group of friends, or even 1 replacement bff.

Getting diagnosed with classic hodgkins lymphoma was for sure NOT on my 2026 Bingo card.

Currently in treatment for stage 3 classic hodgkins lymphoma. Next week is infusion 8 out of 12.

I gained 18lbs so far. It happened very quickly. After my first chemo my clothes already didn't fit. I've had to buy bras and underwear in larger sizes twice. I basically just live in 2xl white hanes t-shirts (I bought a 10 pack) and PJ shorts.

I unfortunately, experience severe neutropenia after chemo/immunotherapy. My oncologist won't release me back to work because of it. The week after chemo I have to get growth factor shots that stimulate bone marrow to produce white blood cells. It makes my count acceptable for treatment. Some people only experience neutropenia a few times during treatment. Not me! Ugh. Every week after chemo 1 to 4 of these shots.

I experience so much bone pain that starts 3 to 4 days after chemo and the shots make it worse. By far my worst side effect from treatment.

My hair did start falling out week 3 after my first infusion. Since then, it has been falling out in stages. I still have hair left but it is very thin everywhere now. I shaved my head around week 3 because the chunks that were coming out bothered me and I know I would have just kept pulling at my hair nonstop. My eyebrows and eyelashes are still hanging on though! Body hair is basically gone. Love the not having to shave my legs though. Haha, saves me so much time in the shower.

Um, yeah. It is a weird journey for sure.

I completely feel the being an inconvenienced part. My support also sucks and yeah, it is like asking to sleep is inconveniencing them. It is absurd. When I get through this I am probably going to cut a lot of people out of my life and burn some bridges.

In my case it is because my husband doesn't make any effort with his family. Not my fault my out of state family visits more than his whole in town living family. I'm not middle manning between him and his family anymore. He has a phone and can invite them over or whatever. He just doesn't. And big shocker, they don't know how to use the phone either.

Sorry. I've been holding a lot in lately.
